not only that ma dude but he took a shot at his character, not only as a genuine friend but as someone dependable and worth of trust, hes shone a black light on all that...im not one for beef tapes but i belive this goes far deeper than just tryna sell records. like BEANS does say in the song, its not about money, its about the evident stab in the back...HARSH!

i also like that he said that its not an invitation for cats to come out suddenly and start attacking J on sum f*** JAY Z isht..."hes still my manz, i love that nigga"

reminds me almost of the beeF VINIE PAZ had with his Drug slinging brother Razoul

"ima beat u down and then hug you, tell you i love you dunny"

It doesn't sound like Beans is expecting a reply or trying to start some beef for the sake of beef. Sounds more like he just wanted to get something off his chest and went in the booth and laid it all out.

But this is one side of the story, so we don't really know the true picture of what really happened between the two. Some interesting shit though.

Check Jay's response in an interview.

"He has a lot to complain about," Jay jokingly said during a press conference. "Not me. Well Beanie Sigel at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest, was driving two Bentleys, I don't know how. It's impossible to drive two cars at one time with his mama in the sticks and selling 800,000 records. I don't know what more you can do for somebody at that point. What people choose to do when they attain that type of success, you know, at some point you have to look in the mirror and look at yourself. Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label, and a clothing line. And never went platinum, ever. I don't know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little. I don't know what more you can do for a person at that point. But a record deal, that's normal. A record label and a clothing line, so, if that's not pushing a person, sh*t. Thank-you." ^^^^^^^^

starting to sound more like sumin out of the pages of a Wu-Tang soap opera box...cos RZA has been going through the same thing with his members as well. however, being politically correct in an interview (and not in a rap track, as some might expect) and being quick to label what you might & might not have done for a person & attributing their dismal bout of success as their fault despite your attempts to push them is one very big and clever way of creating DOUBT on what hes saying...remains to be seen i guess!  ::)

Beans say Jigga never used to pay em when they went on tour overseas with him instead he told em it was a good look for them. SMH

Beanie Sigel called into Philadelphia radio station 100.3 The Beat this morning (October 30), where he discussed a controversial new track in which he disses Jay-Z.

Sigel expresses his frustration with Jay-Z on the track, because of lines on Jay’s Blueprint 3, as well as the handling of Sigel’s career after a prison stint in 2004, as Roc-A-Fella Records was breaking up.

This morning, Philadelphia rapper called into Charlamagne Tha God’s Morning Show and explained his motivation for releasing the record in detail.

Sigel claimed that several lines on Jay-Z’s song “Already” were the catalyst for the shocking diss record in addition to this treatment at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert last weekend, which Jay-Z headlined.

Additionally, the “Broad Street Bully” revealed that he felt slighted for not being included on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album.

Sigel also reiterated his claims that Jigga abandoned Roc-A-Fella rap group State Property, which featured group members Freeway, Peedi Peedi, Oschino, Omillio Sparks, and the Young Gunz (Young Chris and Neef ).

“Jay in another place and I understand that. He did what he did as far as signing people to Roc-A-Fella Records, you did that,” Sigel told Charlamagne Tha God. “But as far as the push that people coulda got that really could have did things, you didn’t do that. If you look at 50 Cent - no disrespect to the G-Unit, cause I love the way 50 Cent did with his dogs - but if you look at it, them dudes got more money and more bread than anybody in State Property. Because 50 made sure of that. 50 took his people on tour and paid them, not tell them it was a good look for them to be on tour.”

Sigel claimed that life on Roc-A-Fella Records was not glamour and glitz, despite State Property’s output for Roc-A-Fella.

Collectively, or individually the Philadelphia group released hit records like “Feel It In the Air” (Beanie Sigel), “Roc the Mic” (Freeway) and “Can‘t Stop, Won‘t Stop” (Young Gunz) in addition to starring in two State Property movies and a State Property clothing line, which was sold in major department stores.

“The clothing line and all that came about cause Dame did that. Dame gave me the clothing line. I got the Pro-Keds thing that came from a situation that I did, but then Dame back doored the sneak and gets with the licensee guy who licenses Rocawear and buys the license out the Pro-Keds, without me knowing it,” Sigel said. “So now I am not getting 50 % profit that I would be getting off every Pro-Ked sneaker sold with the SP logo on it like the original deal was... As a team player, why just wear the Pro-Keds when I can cross-market it and have my own sneaker? Then Dame stopped making Pro-Keds with the SP symbol on it.”

Beanie Sigel revealed that he has not had a conversation with Jay-Z in over two years and that Dame Dash’s reckless spending was the reason for Roc-A-Fella’s demise.

i think people are forgetting that beans is upset because 1. jay-z has been firing shots at his former roc members through songs and he has become extremely cocky as u heard in already home...

2. he refused beans to enter his show or come back stage or some shit like and beans is supposed to be his mans....

3. he claimed he got beans all these things when he didnt... so how could beans not be sour coz of jay-z's bitcha**ness!

i know a lotta people talk bout how people are just envious over hov etc - but really when more than 5 people highlight ur bitcha**ness maybe its time consider that hov may have an elememnt of bitcha**ness within him. i mean lets look back at it

1. Jaz-O - who put him on
2. D-Haven (jay-z's street mentor and original dopeman) who he fired shots at on american gangster
3. Dame
4. Biggs
5. beanie
6. Joe Buddne
7. DMX
8. The whole of Dipset (who i never understood why they had beef because they were a hot crew at the time in NY)
9. DMX his man from back in the day
10.Fiddy (who as u have heard was blocked from signing both Free and Beanie)
11. Uncle L - well this doesnt count Lol..just running out of numbers..
12. Peedi Crack
13. Omillio Sparks
14 Mobb deep
15. NAs at one stage...

and so on...

we have all accepted that Diddy is the devil..so why cant people accept hov is a bitcha**nigga beyond his talent and raps...

Aren't we jumping the gun here. Clearly these dudes must have done something too for their situation to be where it is with Jigga. There are two sides to every story. It doesn't matter if it's ten people talking about one person, not to say Jay has been an angel but I bet if we could see everything that went down from both sides we'll see that all is not as they say it is, they are responsible for some of this shit too.

As always in life the guy who rises above rest and becomes successful will always catch the most flack when there's grumblings from below.

i ws just speaking to people about this same situation and someone said

"beanie siegel is one ungrateful dude"

got me thinking why shouldnt artists be mad about labels pimpin them? lets not forget jigga wasnt the only one at R.O.C. - the roc sure did pimp a whole lotta dudes when they were hot and left them to dry.

Roc the mic came out...suddenly SP was at the forefront of the roc and even had a tour named after roc the mic which jigga and dame got paid off...

Dipset came thru - suddenly we had the whole dipset era poppin off....

at one stage didnt they pimp NOre and Twista? this game is crazy...

I agree with u 100%. But cats need to understand that's just how business is, u push a product that is hot right now, strike while the iron is hot.

And cats also need to learn the difference between employer and employee. Of course the guys that own and run shit will always make the most money...that's business.

Cats are cool with the whole capitalist bullshit and boasting about their money and how they are caking it, until the train stops and they realise they should have saved instead of buying Jacob watches and shit.

Then they wanna complain about how they didn't get to share in the wealth and live like good socialists.

Clearly none of you peeped the radio interview.

From my understanding this stems from two things.

1) Jay was asked in court by a judge that if Beans was released for a tour, which Jay was a part of, would he look after him and be responsible for him ? Jay said NO. Beans was then sent back to the bing. Sheisty. That's your man homes. Do whatever u can do to keep him outta jail.

2) After coming out the pen, Beans went to some BP3 show to see Jay, and Jay told security not to let him in.

The money is part of it, but i think it's more about loyalty. Cats been loyal to Jay from day one. Dudes went to war for him through the different beefs with D-Block, Nas and all that shit.

Like i said to Pewee, seems like Jay is your friend when he needs u, but when u need him, he abandons you.
Like really, who does Jay have left  ?  GURU ? LOL !!! All his former a**ociates have parted with him, and have stated clearly that dude has no loyalty whatsoever. Money over Homies. MOH. That should be his next album title.

Remember DMX and Camron(Wet wipes music video) slamming him for wearing flip flops!!!
 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Here's DMX to VIBE magazine on whether or not Jay Z's a metrosexual because he has a flip-flop fetish: Real men don't wear sandals. The flip-flops - he's just not the same. It's Beyonce. He's a sucker for love. Thugs don't do flip-flops. Yo, no matter how much vacation I'm on - we been to St. Thomas, Bahamas, all the little islands - I don't wear no flip-flops. I'm never that comfortable, not even in my own house.

That's nice.like remembering a time when you and The Jigga Man used to be cool. And speaking of whatever happened to that.

Here's some jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on DMX going sideways at his dog Jay Z: The best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend. If that doesn't help, take a job at the music label he works for and make him call you President

just to deviate slightly but is it me or

DID ETHER MAKE JIGGA AFRAID OF BATTLES, I mean before Ether Jay had confidence in all his music and made Takeover throwing shots at Nas and Mobb Deep, but every since Ether came out and crushed his soul, that confidence and authority he had on takeover has been kinda lacking in parts. Hes had several people come at him. 50 Cent (many different times), The Game, Beanie Sigel, Camron, Jaz O and more diss him over the years on many different times but it seems like jay wont do shit to diss them.
Its like he only disses people who he knows (or thinks) he has the upper hand on anyone can get a lame like jim jones. He did that when Nas was takin time out to be with his dying moms. Then Nas came with Ether and scarred jay for life. Ever since Ether jay has been scared, cam almost got him on You Gotta Love It, and now 50 and Beans are taunting him on the daily now am I reaching or do you cosign

If Jay replied to every lil diss he'd be a fool. Most of these so called beefs are just taunts, dudes yanking his chain to get attention around their album releases. Dude is all grown now and he has a legacy to worry about, he must choose his battle carefully.

i think Deac is both right and wrong! he replied to Ether - see "Super Ugly" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKj5Mmg3Lnw

after the Nas battle i wouldn't fathom him battling anyone coz frankly, why??? him and Nas are regarded as the two current heavyweights of rap, in part due to that battle. now why would he entertain half the ctas tryina get at him. like, i wouldn't imagine Pac and Big to really battle anyone after that battle had they lived to see the end of it. its like demotion!

but he may feel like he'd like to battle say a Game, but then of course thats risky, not because he doesn't think he could kill Game, but also because that'd be like opening a can of worms.. then he got all sorts of younguns tryina get at him. that way he loses the aura of being number 1 if he entertains just about anyone after Nas.

for instance, i know some kids around the block that are 5-6 years my juniors.. some of these kids could very likely f*** me up in a fist fight but they wouldn't dare try that coz they see me as iGrootman. now if i ended up in an altercation with one of them and we actually fought(not beat him up), i'd be breeding an unhealthy environment coz they won't respect me anymore. can't be fighting with kids..

With this beef being so personal, I don't think Jay will deem it appropriate to respond on wax and make it a battle. If he does respond, I think he's gonna go the grown man route and probably talk to dude to make himself look like he's taking it seriously, especially after what everyone is saying about him and his former friends.

Responding on wax would open up an unneccessary can of  worms, as Koli has mentioned above.

Typical 50 style. That guy will whore himself all over to get attention. His album is coming out soon and the buzz is not that great.

"Yeah, you changed man," 50 says toward the song's completion. "You let the money change you, Jay. You used to be from Marcy, [Brooklyn] n*gga. Now you a pa** the Grey Poupon a** n*gga. You don't want the shooter? I'll take him. [laughs] N*gga, feed the wolves or else the wolves feed off you. Eat your a** alive! I live by a combat's creed. Strategy. Your move, n*gga." ("I Go Off")
