What do u cats think of this song? im not sure if this has been brought up before... firstly i can just briefly understand what they saying so im not one to judge on the lyrics... but the hook is fresh the flows sound dope to me - the beat is BANANAZ - MIZI KILLED THIS ONE YO... and the video is something worth watchin man... its simple but cla**y and its off the chains...

I like this track too and the video is dope, done by Gorilla films. I hear the album is bananas too. These guys keep bringing heat and they stay on the humble.
I heard their radio interview on saturday talking about how Mizi wanted to be on their previous albums but they couldn't take his beats at the time coz the beats did not match the sound they were going for... until this current album and boom, this banger came out the kitchen!!

This is the first Teargas track I like. Very catchy hook (but in a good way).
Is it the same Gorilla Films that shot Pro's video (Nthini Go Pro)? A lot of similarities - shot iKasi, black and white, dude buying food from spaza, kids etc... still, it's nice.

Yeah, not everyone wants/has to be supa lyrical. Some dudes just want to tell a story, get your head nodding, get honeys to shake their booty, get paid and get the f*** out. Nothing worng with that.

I never really really liked any of their tracks until this one. I even have the damn hook stuck in my head as we speak! :)
i don't care that they aren't lyricists - that's obviously not what they are about. a lot of their songs have been too corny for my personal taste, but this 'go away' joint is nice. best 'summer hit' i've heard so far (along with one of those deep level joint, K'shubile (i think)).

Like I said before, I've never been a fan or Teargas because they have always seemed corny and lightweight - their flows have always sounded simple, yet clumsy to point of wackness too.
However, I can't front on this track. They sound and look totally credible on this joint and the beat is a winner. Summer hit - I have to co-sign it!

This is what happens when the person/company that's comissioned to do the cover has an idea for a cover that they always wanted to try out, and these guys come along and the designer be like "yo, I got a brilliant idea for u guys, it's gonna be hot trust me...blah blah... on some never seen before shit blah blah blah...u gon be the only ones in SA ...blah blah blah.." ::) ::) ::)
And on their radio interview they had the nerve to imply that 50 Cent copied their cover.

So to me the cover says - "It's the future,the world look f***ed up in the background, some Apocalypse shit,they rocking futuristic terminator type clothes".
So whatever may come in the FUTURE, teargas will still be around holding it down.My interpretation. Goes with the TITLE. Plus the whole BLUE COVER fits in with the mood.
Again, the song with TIRA is not bad. I heard this on radio b4 the MIZI joint. But AGAIN the lyrics. This is where that whole "court case" shit comes in. Actually this KO dude is what's wrong with this group.

Lets's face it, these guys are here for the bread, hiphop is just a vehicle they chose to try and get it, hence the easy switch to kwaito/house tracks like this whenever someone whispers it their ear plus the words "ka-ching".
