What direction do you think this much in need-of-resuscitation publication will take?
That being said except for a typo on the cover :o the June/July issue was actually quite a good read.
Articles from our own Scott Williams and the layout wasn't as shoddy as previous editions.

Poor Guy!!! Never personally liked him cause of putting more features on his favourite mcees on the mag,but was starting to get used to him as an Editor,Im sure there are other opportunities waiting for him in the media Industry.Hope the next Editor does a great job same as him.

I doubt you even knew about Tonedeff before I played him on my show,you little c***rag.
As for talking about Brad Pitt, I think you have me confused with fags that go on the interweb and ask people for pics and gossip about Khanyi Mbau. I'm not that guy.
My show was the only pure hip hop,no commercial show in the history of that station and there is a reason it was canned after I left and Bangi took it over. People just weren't feeling the poppy flavour he played after I brought the hate and rawness.

When it comes to HYPE magazine, i think the mistakes were made from the very beginning. Having Outkast on the very first issue of 'South Africas only hip hop magazine' put me off.
I do like the fact that it made me aware of names that we beyond our boundaries. I now know about crews that are doing it big in other provinces, albeit they concentrated on Joburg and Cap City.
I hope that with the new Mag...there will be a greater push to cover hip hop from all angles...from all corners of this continent (if possible).
And those CDs... Please for the love of god...get back to the good music.

As for Mizi...I do not know enough about him and his activities at the mag, other than the editors note. I hope that he will succeed in his future endeavours.
