Title: Lineup Announced for Sacramento World Music Festival

Sacramento, California - May 2, 2003 - Festival coordinator Allan Camillo, announced today the musical lineup for the two days of Global Music and Art festival that will be held on June 28 - 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cal Expo.

Artists scheduled to perform at this event include: Big Mountain, Flambeau with Tom Rigney, Earl Zero, Akimbo, Ras Rebel, Jamal, Franklin and Biblical, Luna Angel, Ma**agana, Tehiya Amet, Reggae Angels, The River Jordan band, Levi Jr., TuFan, Brother Ayouba, Blazing Cornerstones, The Green Acres, Megun Tokou, The Soul Profits, Scotty Long all-star blues Band, Badian Yacine, Dubterianians, Soul Medic, Boga, Children´s area, African Dancers, Drum Circles and many more...

More acts to be added as the lineup is subject to change!

In between band sets, will be guest speakers from local, national and international child abuse prevention and children´s rights organizations giving dynamic presentations designed to educate, motivate, and, hopefully, captivate and inspire the audience. Lineup for speakers to be announced!

Individual day tickets are $7. Two-day pa**es are $10. Tickets are on sale to the public online at www.mollyguard.com/event/5621815 or calling (916) 362-3171. The event is free for children under 12 & seniors above 65!

Africamix is a 501c(3) not-for profit organization located in Sacramento, California. It is an all-volunteer organization composed of dedicated individuals representing an array of cultural, racial and ethnic populations. Africamix´s program, Collective Volunteer Pledge For Needy Children, as known as Africamix Festival, uses the medium of multicultural arts and music festivals to promote local and national awareness about child abuse and neglect, and conduct public education about prevention and intervention efforts being conducted locally, nationally and internationally to combat child abuse, including child sexual abuse, child labor, child soldiers, child pronography, child slave trafficking, child prostitution, and children with HIV/AIDS, especially in African countries.
