Title: Women Abuse in Hip Hop Article
Post by: TATEguru v.2K9 on March 04, 2005, 10:57:51 PM
MAN I hope you peeps saw the article on Women Abuse in Hip Hop on the AG home page.

If not peep it here:
http://sfj.abstractdynamics.org/archives/emblovehurts.pdf

This is exactly the kind of thing that makes you wonder if we are really making a difference through our music? I mean fine making money for inner city youths to move out the hood is one thing but those same succesful youth go on to behave like this & the hip hop community appears to perpetuate it?!

f*** THAT! LETS TAKE A STAND! :x

I had to bring this back because I thought it was interesting read because just the other day I was debating with a friend of mine about the very same thing. Heard a joke once: why don't black people like country music?
'Cause every time they say "hoe-down,"
they think someone shot their sister.
Lets talk!

To go beyond, what about rappers that abuse their wives. I remember hearing about Big Pun beating
his wife, Liza. I didn't beleive it first but then I saw the interview with his wife and sister in law:
