How did you explain to her that hip hop is a culture.did you tell her the origan of hip hop to make it a culture?. Breaking down the 5 elements knowledge of self /tracing  back generations of your existance and follow the traditions of your ancestors , DJing / the drummer in the village that gave life to a story teller,Mc/storyteller in the villages,Grafitti artist / rock painter,B-boying /Kapoeira fighters in Angola and most of all these elements and their predecessors are older than the birth of christ that is why i think it is a culture and i respect it a lot cause it´s origins is african.
