Pick 4 emcees from ANYWHERE & ANY ERA i.e. Time Machine mode is active & lets do battle fantasy soccer/basketball/football style!
Rules:
All emcees will be rated on merit basis in the following catergories:
1) Technique (flow, breath, control, mic technique etc)
2) Gramar aka use of language skills (vocab, punchlines, smilies, metaphors etc)
3) Swagger aka Style/ Presence/ Impact etc (also important in a battle)
heres my team:

3rd leg: Black Thought circa 1996 - Illadelph Halflife era
Finisher: Rakim circa 1988 - Paid in Full Era

Also remember, you self sed how inportant Presence and the appreciation of that is...and this is why very few emcees could stand to Ra, beyond lyrical...He is Ra.... but Ka** skrik fo niks man..he'd know his opponent but you cant let your adversary get the upper hand in the whole psyche-out stakes... Ka** would stand and deliver........ Ra, when you look at the whle package is FOOKIN formidable but lookin at it again... he got a lyrical advantage ...but not super huge one... their content is comparable.... Excuse me for not including the Blastmaster in my Squad first but at least I had to let someone else draft him to even isht out.
Methinks my squad still leads but in true African politricks fashion I would like to ammend the rules & mandate that at least one African Rapper i.e. BASED in Africa plying his/her trade there.
I initially chose the PRO but would like to trade him in for Fungus the Mutilated Lung 8O. So if you want PRO draft Fungus & I'll trade.

So maybe Rakim automatically wins because he is a pioneer and the inspirartion. He also had access to better production at that time(Ced G., Large Pro, Paul C., Marley Marl)

technique: gotta give it to Ras Ka**. Rakim's flow was nice and his scripts were effective but writing style of hiphop advanced a lot since his era.
