huh...chilling
i´ve grown too sick of "now rap"...
i´m listening to alot of blues and jazz...60/70s rock, folk...funk
...and older rap(from everywhere)
...southafrican hiphop is in a rut i think, too much politics not enuff
substance...
...many "historians" site this as sa hip-hop blowing up...i see it as the
scene blowing-in, concaving, falling in on its self, much to the
destruction of all...it lacks direction or some sort of uniformity...a cause...what the f*** does it stand for...what are its politics that it politics so
much...noone worships the holy quadrangle(break, scratch, write, rap)
anymore...not that that´s a bad thing, because alot of that is crap as
well...it´s all dead, only existing in purgetory(and followers are meerely
shells of 3-stripes gone by)
...don´t believe the hype-ractivity
...i think we must kill the chitchat and do...
...only thing to do is originate the next wave of funk...
...nothing excites me like the past
...kill, kill, kill complacency, conformity...huh
