i was listening to the essence on sunday nite and there was hhp and wikid.what baffled me was why did wikid keep on saying that he hadnt freestyled since 10 yrs ago...for me he kept saying that so that just in case his freestyle was wack...i mean these ppl always go on about le club and the cypers and shit that used o be there.shuldnt he be comfortable freestyling if he went through le club?anyway i thought his freestyle was not as bad as i thought it would be..anyway i aint heard you guys say anything bout his new album? is it not worth a mention? the few tracks that i have heard are decent and i dont think id mind buying hs album.there is an joint they played there with wikid feat nothende..think its called what going on...thats a nice nice track...too nice.was gonna give props to amu for the beat but maybe i should wait until we really sure that in fact amu did produce that beat as opposed to maybe cloning it

yeah..what are these awards all about anyway..is it singles awards or something...so im a**uming u could have heard a scenario where the whole category was dominated by 1 artist..like 'wozobona'..lets wait a while and ungaphel'umoya son...would  have been weird but hey its mzantsi.big ups to pro 4 that best album nominate...i thought these awards were gonna be big but you look at nominees across all catergories  an its just a yawn

good people..i heard on the radio last nite that the nominees for the mfa's were released last nite..now my interst would be on the best hiphop category..has anybody heard which guys have been nominated/i would expect both pro's to be there..maybe morafe as well but does anybody know who is on the list..and who do you guys think shuld take home the gong..my personal fav is proverb even though i have to admit that prokid style is 'like coke dope from line to line'

i was just checking out the rage website and i saw they just did album reviews. now that got me thinking..isnt there no conflict there..coz i mean really could they ever give prokid's album a 9 and verb a 5...dontthink so which is probabaly why they never review their own albums anyway...but i see they gave chomee a 2..now i dont know her..neva heard of her..and i kno coming from 999 she is probably lucky to have a 2.but thats besides the point.the point is why are they reviewing these wack albums and not good stuff...i mean a lot of good hip hop material is on the shelves but they aint saying shit..no reviews on prokid..hidden force..etc

yo..its my first time...some useless background info...i wouldnt cla**ify myself as a head..im only discovering the whole hip-hop shit now and am hoping to get some schooling here...so maybe some of the shit i say would be dumb.
my top 5 emcees would be proverb..i think he is the best thing that happened to local hip hop this year. i got mad respect for tumi and zubz as well..hhp is nice as well. and then there is prokid..what can i say..i got his album..his freestyling is amazing and the album was tight..but i still feel he could have done better...i dont know if it was the label that limited his album..i still think his album is probably the best album we have from a sa artist though.i feel sometimes prokid just goes about with his flow without properly riding the beat..e.g lets wait a while..i feel that that beat deserved better...its just that i expected so much more from this album coz the guy is so talented.maggz would round up my to 5
