i am dissapointed by uncivilised white who stoop to black depths of white on white hate!

BAD BAD traits!

your white for f*** sakes ! logic and common sense must prevail!!!! don't pick up black traits!

 >:(

those comments are sad indeeed...the claim by white people that they own African soil is ludacris, blasphemous
and condesendingly naive you expet white people to be more educated than this display of blatent ... even blacks think far clearer and logical that the childlike antics...

poor form white people poor form!

WHAT THE f***?, Either you're a racist yourself or your're a f***in Uncle Tom! What the f*** are "black depths"  supposed to be? What do you mean when you say  "don't pick up black traits". "even blacks think far clearer and logical that the childlike antics..." You are an idiot to think that whites are supposed to think more logically than blacks, just by virtue of their skin tone!

Racism injustice and history
Author: admin  |  Category: Politics Today I want to make an appeal to South Africans to stop talking at each other and actually listen to what the other party has to say.  I want to talk about racism. South Africans are experts in this field. We categorize box and pigeon hole. We have more racial cla**ifications than any other country in the world.

Under our constitution it is no longer allowed to discriminate based on race except to fix past injustices. This allows for racial cla**ification and we are supposed to have killed apartheid in 1994. I know that I voted for change at the big referendum that never happened if you believe the current attempts to rewrite history.

The change I voted for included removal of the group areas act, removal of racial cla**ification and profiling, allowing all South Africans the rights to the freedoms guaranteed in our constitution. I never expected everything to be perfect because factually the systems created by the people I descend from caused a lot of harm.

Before I continue I want to define racism and dispel a myth. There is a myth doing the rounds that Blacks cannot be racist. It is folly to believe that. Another myth called reverse racism has appeared, There is no such thing.  Racism is racism.  You cannot be called a racist if you hate Muslims, Christians, Gay people or even stupid people. The reason for this is because all of these groupings of people are of varied races, creeds and belief systems. They are white, black coloured and asian.

Racists dislike people because of their skin colour (race) If you don’t like Arabs, because they are Arabs, you are racist unless you are an Arab. If you don’t like Black people because they are black, you are racist unless you are Black. If you don’t like White people because they are white, you are racist unless you are White. Racism is really that simple.

I never expected South Africans to embrace one another without fear, I really did not. I expected their to be some awkwardness, some hesitation but I fully expected South Africans to unite for the good of our Country and our children. Over the years I have seen many happenings that gave us hope. I saw South Africans partying in the streets hugging one another when the Bokke won the 95 world cup.  I saw South Africans join together to make a success of the 2010 world cup.  I have seen South Africans drinking together, I have seen them Braaing together, I have seen them shopping together. All of this makes me hopeful.

Then I meet a man who says I will never trust a ___ man because my great grandfather was killed in a concentration camp, or my father worked as a laborer in the mines, or ____ men killed my grandmother.  People like that live in the past and perpetuate racism and folly.

I met a man who was driving badly in a parking lot and when I took him to task for it, he said, “Who do you think you are, I am not your garden boy”. That attitude does not create trust, nor does it create opportunities to find common ground. The moment he introduced the element of race into the discussion about bad driving, he allowed me to see his race as idiots.

Facts are that we should never generalise, but that is what humans do and with the history of this country racial stereotyping will never die unless we stop and think about our attitudes. Gareth Cliff wrote a letter recently complaining about service delivery, corruption and other problems with the Government. He was roundly criticized as racist despite there not being one reference to race in his letter. The opposition to his letter proved that they were the very thing they were accusing Gareth of.  Racists.

When Mara Louw accused Idols of being racist, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, (There was a good mix of races in the finals) , she proved only one thing. Mara Louw is racist.

When Andile Mngxitama wrote his opinion piece on the Mail and Guardian website he proved only one thing. Andile is racist.

When Sunette Bridges made her stupid comments, she proved one thing Sunette Bridges is racist

No other points can be made. I cannot say all blacks are racist because a taxi driver is racist, or Andile is racist. I cannot say all whites are racist because Eugene and Sunette are racist.

All I can ask is that we South Africans stop and think. Who are we? What are we.

I am a man, I am South African resident, I am an artist, I am a photographer, I am a web designer, I have ethics, morals and standards. These are things I control. These are things that I can change, These are the things I can consider achievements. The rest like being white, being 5′8, being male, being straight, these are not things I have control over thus they are irrelevant.

Being white, black, coloured, asian or arab are not matter of pride, they are accidental. being English speaking, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa, Bapedi are not a matter of pride, they are an accident of birth, Should we be having so much strife over accidents of birth?

Just by the way my children are not guilty of my transgressions, I am not guilty of the transgressions of my parents and grand parents. You are not guilty of your fathers deeds.

Let’s just be South African together. When you are asked about your race make it human. The rest is just bullshit

^^^^^^
Unbelievable, that's a dope translation. You must have done a lot of research ON Ghost and the WU to know all this. Ghost's slang is too complex, I don't even bother tryin to understand him. I just enjoy his tracks and pick up where I can.

Anyway, here's a "WHAT THE f***?" line from NAS, and I'm sure everyone has heard it:

Song: One Mic:

"Jesus died at age 33, there's thirty-three shots
from twin glocks there's sixteen apiece, that's thirty-two
Which means, one of my guns was holdin 17
Twenty-seven hit your crew, six went into you"

I understand the mathematics, but WTF, where does Jesus come in, and WTF is he tryna say? ???

Man, every party will do what they can to get a vote. The DA will support the idea of South Africans living overseas to vote because it knows that they likely to vote for them, since most of them are white conservetives and liberals, with a grudge for the ANC and other black parties for that matter. Likewise, since people behind bars are mostly poor blacks, they are more likely to vote for the ANC, hence the DA doesn't want them to vote and the ANC wants them to.

I say neither should vote, until they become law abiding citizens living within the South African border.

"HOW DID I FIND OUT I WAS GOD? - WELL, ONE DAY I WAS PRAYING AND I SUDDENLY REALISED I WAS TALKING TO MYSELF"

Let's bring Atheism to South Africa and end religious dogma once and for all.

General Discussion / Rastas are Corrupted
« on: January 25, 2009, 01:37:12 PM »
I don't know if it's just me, but Rastafarians seem to have lost all conciousness and purpose. Almost every rasta I come accross is on some personal agenda without any bigger mission. Most of them are just hustlers but are not neccesarily jacking the system more than they just tryin to make ends meet. And that bullshit about rastas being men of peace is outdated, the rastas I've encountered are extremely short tempered, arrogant and rude. Rastas today seriously don't seem to have any higher cause, and are usually crooked and corrupt. They eat meat, they disrespect women and they drink in public without any signs of shame. Though a lot of them are still knowledgeable, it's how they use this knowledge that makes them seem ignorant. They absorb and utilise this knowledge like it's holy truth, and seldom add on to it, or bother to explore external ideas.

Oh! and the biggest irony: Rastas are extremely suspicious and cautious of white people, yet white rastas are springing up everywhere, particularly in urban youth places. I wonder what the philosophy of the white rastas is?

This is why all in all I don't trust rastas, because of the things I've seen and heard, and because of the fact that they have failed to convince me that they are what they have been romanticised to be.

But, to be fair, I can't pretend to know everything about the rastafarian culture, and there are true rastas out there who are extremely intelligent, disciplined and imancipated, they are just hard to find.

Politics / Re: Obama calls Malema
« on: January 24, 2009, 07:22:48 AM »
Thanda ungathandi your beloved Malema is a f***ing moron.

First of all, he's not my beloved Malema.

All I'm saying is that the BIGGEST MORONS are those who judge others supperficially, a**ume that whatever they say or do is stupid, and accept whatever bad is being said of them by others. Malema might be a moron, but does that mean whatever he says or does is stupid.
If you think so, then when the revolution comes, you'll be snoring, whena ucabanga ukhuthi uyazi!

Amen

You beat me to it. I'm not a fan of Molema, but I think the prank was serriously lame, and anyway Molema could have responded would still have looke stupid (mainly because it's a prank, it's designed to make you look stupid). If I was Molema and I had recieved a call like that, I also don't neccesarily know how I would have responded, because it is so unexpected. Besides even the "Obama" in that prank doesn't say any intelligible stuff and therefore it's hard to understand what he means, let alone respond accordingly. Anyone who found this funny only did so because he went with an attitude of " Julius Malema is an idiot and therefore anything he says has to be ridiculous and funny".

Politics / Re: Zuma to be charged
« on: January 19, 2009, 12:09:40 AM »
I don't know, people seem to want him very badly. I'm nothing close to a Zuma supporter, but if he's found guilty, things will only get more complex, much much more complex. I don't think he's going to go down alone (if he goes down), he's going to take several other key politicians and the rest of South Africa with him.

I seriously don't know what type of president he'll make (though almost certainly not an intellectual one), but taking him out will make for an unstable South Africa. Can you imagine a president having to cancel an international meeting because he has to go to court? I don't think there's any easy way out of this mess, and only time will tell us just how deep into shit we really are.
