I think its time for some of the more knowledgable cats to drop a "How to clear samples" Post
I´ve been playing around samples for a while now but haven´t bothered to clear shit with anyone, I really couldn´t give a dick about it but its good to know if I ever decide to. I´m guessing its a different way for different samples (diff. labels, diff. artists, diff. countries, diff. laws stuff like that)

I sample from extremely obscure shit, most from the late sixties to mid seventies, but I´ve recently got my hands on SABC archive records (Springbok radio and other periodicals)so I´m sure I can clear that easily but stuff like American Jazz and soul, European cla**ical, rock and folk. where would I clear stuff like that?

Sorry i might be wrong, but please take into account that All the articles you posted are taken from Coalition countries (Australia, USA) All media is biased.

I´m not stupid (and I´m sure you´re not either), if you expect me to believe that a third of your soldiers have died in car accidents, during a military occupation with a violent uprising, then my friend I have truly over estimated you.  Can American Soldiers not drive?, maybe its my definition of a vehicular accident. If your definition includes car bombs or any death inside a car then I might be naive enough to believe you.

Omar Fadhil is one person, I can make up a number of names of "Iraqis" and have them say whatever i want, if I´m a superpower I can pay any single person to say anything (everybody has tehre price), ut the true feelings of the iraqi people cannot be bought or thumb-sucked by a reporter because every time there is a "vehicular accident" the Iraqi people are sending a message to the world and it is a resounding no!

I understand your natural support for your country, espiaclly if you are a military vet. but you are obviously an educated fella, open your eys and see beyond patriotic pride

Blah!

Subzy, the tax revolution I was reffering to was the great American Revolution, I personally have no problem with your revolution, but your fellow citizen  attempted to undermine our struggle, so Blah!

well being that in all oppresive systems there are those who sincerely believe that they are doing good and some that actually do (like colonisation, many thought that they were "educating\modernising"  us), that does not redeem the ultimate oppresive nature of the regime.

if Americans still do believe that they are "liberating" the Iraqis then it must be a case of "the Natives not knowing whats good for them". every sector of Iraqi society is violently opposing American imperilism, from religious and civic society to political and military organisations, if you think the hundreds of American bodies being flown home evry month are the product of a few "agitators" or Baath party\Saddam loyalists, then every Iraqi is a Saddam Loyalist.

I wouldn´t compare your petty tax "revolution" to the fight against imperial colonisation, exploitation and domination of Africa (the struggle goes on, we aren´t done!).Dont forget this is an African website not a cattle ranch,  cowboy.

Most definitely cheaper, for 9?
Next time anyone plans to order Viny onlinel let the AG ma**iv know, I´d like to order some shit but I don´t own a credit card (my folks don´t love me enough to let me use theirs) so maybe we could work out a "DEE-YAL"?.

I´m broke right now (meaning the next 6 months), but if anyone wants to be a pal let me know when your planning to order online (I´d rather say no thanks than have missed the chance completely).

Fo Sho Khoi
I agree, most rapsters just dont have their ish together on stage. its the most annoying thing when you have a man/woman on stage ripping it (or so they think) and putting all their energy into the performance but you can´t hear shit cause their holding the mic too close or too far or just not talking properly.
I think, in SA especially, there´s more money to be made on gigs than record sales cause the market is not suffienctly developed (most MC´s are recording underground (basement) and there just isn´t proper distribution) but there is a large and growing scene who will go to performances if they are ill. Clever MC´s will work on their live act to draw crowds and build a REAL (not TV, radio induced)  fan base (supporters) at the same time!!

Just Opinion

PS. Prokid is an exciting MC we´ll see what happens with him, he said he´ll be releasing soon, keep your ear to the streets (eye on the screen... AG wut wut)

Now now Mr ChickenHead, dont talk shit if you dont know shit. Name the leadership of the Youth League please! and one person who´s only "looking out for himself"
please give me an example of the "Dictatorship" of the YL leadership. This notion of the YL being a dictatorship seems to be quite widespread, maybe I´m just blinded by my love but can someone please tell me what that means. It could just be that someone is copying Yoda´s sentiment (which happens so often in Hip Hop I wouldn´t be surprised) but if there is  real feeling that YL leadership is dictatorial can someone please give me a reason why you think so!
atleast you´re being positive, if there is a problem with the leadership of the ANC and the Youth League it is up to us to change that leadership. They´re only leading us because we´re following them!

Defamation of character!, its the right of any person\group\movement to defend itself against hostile and untrue (bullsh!t) attacks. all rights come with responsibilities (including EXPRESSION).
I don´t know about getting the record pulled (thats not what I heard) but if the Youth league did try then it was messed.
