Media / Why are cape town hiphop acts not blowing nationally?

there are a lot of hiphop/rap crews on long street etc... so content in cape town, how come these cats never make it to even as far as CLAREMONT interms of followership? I will not even mention nationwide?how come these dudes do not even make it on radio stations in cape town. are we supporting real MC's,musicians, entertainers... whatever or are we just supporting dudes who do this hiphop shit part-time just so that chicks can recognise them when they walk on long street? is this what local REAL hiphop is?

Word is the first album from the newcomer Struggle Entertainment is being released at the end of this month. Artists appearing on the album include papa zee aka zee dogg, eureka-coverboy, dk and black army. i have been listeing to radio metro and have noticed an act called papa zee...i have to say, he is REALLY nice. they say he comes from struggle entertainment...anybody gat more songs and info from him?
