Media / Mini-Me's Sex Tape
« on: July 09, 2008, 11:26:54 AM »
i almost puked...(this is from bol):

News of the World has this big exclusive where the girl in the sex tape, Ranae Shrider (note the redneck spelling of the first name - it's not just black people doing silly shit like that), discusses her relationship with Mini Me. I guess she's out doing press now trying to get discovered. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a reality series or a Superhead-style book contract that came of this. After the jump are a few excerpts from the article, for your reading pleasure.

On their first date:

Her first date with Verne--famous for playing midget clone versions of baddie Dr Evil in the smash Austin Powers movies--was a romantic dinner at seafood restaurant The Lobster overlooking the Pacific in Santa Monica.

Ranae recalled: "Verne told me not to reach down and hold his hand when we walked in as he didn't want it to look like a child out with his mum.

"When we got to the table he'd fixed for the restaurant to pile three thick phone books on the seat so he could be on the same level as me. Once he'd sat down it was just like having dinner with a normal-sized man. ;D

"We laughed all night and I noticed what amazing eyes Verne had. By the end of the meal I was smitten.

On the first time they had sex:

"It was two weeks before we finally had sex, at his place. I was so nervous I wanted it over and done with--in case there was no chemistry or it just didn't work because of his size

"It was a normal-sized bed and once Verne had clambered up, I undressed and laid down next to him.

"For a small guy he's quite well endowed. I had no complaints. :'(

"But the whole thing was over in three minutes.

"It was strange having sex with someone who couldn't reach to kiss me at the same time, except for my tummy that is! I was so relieved it was over.

"But minutes later Verne was ready to go again. That night we made love three times in 20 minutes, which most bigger men only dream about doing."
 :'(
On how the sex tape came to be:

She said: "Without a doubt there's nothing Verne enjoys more than seeing himself on screen. Watching his own films is his favourite hobby. So it was no surprise when he asked if he could film us having sex. He said we could use it to get ourselves turned on."

Verne then turned director...telling Ranae where he wanted furniture because he was too small to move it himself. She said: "Verne ordered champagne and strawberries to get us in the mood. Then we got down to it.

"First the tape shows Verne pleasuring me for 15 minutes which was amazing. The next 45 minutes is us having sex. And we really enjoyed ourselves."   :'(

Politics / Chinese= Black
« on: June 18, 2008, 12:03:46 PM »
from the times

The Pretoria High Court today granted a landmark ruling that Chinese South Africans are to be included in the definition of "black people" in legislation designed to benefit previously disadvantaged groups.

"As Chinese South Africans we were officially cla**ified as ’coloured’ during the apartheid era and suffered under the same discriminatory laws prior to 1994.

"The logical inference was thus that Chinese South Africans would automatically qualify for the same benefits afforded to the "coloured" group, post 1994.

"However, this was not the case and the Chinese South Africans have suffered a second round of unfair discrimination by not being sure of their status under the two Acts," he said.

"For example, one commercial bank would, given the historical considerations, cla**ify Chinese South Africans as ’black’ for the purposes of the Employment Equity Act and the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act whereas another commercial bank declined to do so.

Mmmmm. i just read this article and i'm confused as to why 'black' should always be the label used...why not something else?
i mean if white woman are sometimes considered as black...does that mean my race has no meaning?

General Discussion / Bo Diddley Pa**es Away
« on: June 03, 2008, 10:13:04 AM »
from whudat: This morning Bo Diddley, pa**ed away of heart failure at his home in Archer, Florida. He was 79-years-old. Bo Diddley is in the Rock and Roll of Hall of Fame, has a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, and received a Lifetime Achievement award from The Grammys.

In an Uncut interview he talked about who belongs in that pioneering rock and roll category..

“The Rolling Stones is definitely rock ‘n’ roll. They’re right up there with myself, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Little Richard, all these people. This is sumthin’ we built, and a lot of the cats came along who didn’t know what they were playin’, they tried to sneak in and say ‘we’re rock ‘n’ rollers’. No way, José!”

He made the first rap record?!

Bo Diddley “Say Man” - 1959

Asked about inspiring rappers too, Bo Diddley responded..

“Uhuh. But it wasn’t called rap, it was called signifyin’. But the new kids today on the block call it rap and I guess you could say rap is a good name for it since you can’t understand a damn thing they’re sayin’.

I think Eminem is the only one you can understand what he’s saying. Will Smith was really good. Sir Mix-A-Lot, you can understand him. But the rest of ‘em, you can’t understand except that it’s dirty, and I don’t like the dirty lyrics.

That’s no good for our youngsters. Let a child be a child until he’s no more a child and then he can listen to what he wants to.”

I know for sure that not a single rapper, all the way back to Funky 4+1, grabbed a mic to mimic that record. But it’s all love. Bo Diddley made some great albums and was truly a master.
