I guess one can finally a**ume that SA Hip-Hop is dead?

Why? kauz AG is?

Just like AG, SA HipHop has been on ICU for a minute, and no one has the guts to pull the plug and save us from the torture. Besides a few dudes making moves, the whole movement has been stagnant.

By the way: Peace to Khuli Chana for being the 1st hiphop act winning 3 Major awards at the SAMA!

Celtics - Too tired.
Bulls - Crumbling in every game.
Lakers - OKC and/or Spurs will be too powerful for them.

Verdict: My money is on the Heat *No dick ridding*, they are too powerful!

Makasana by Pro!

Word on the streets is that he has sold 15k copies thus far. Not Zahara numbers, but he's maintaining.

Just when you think The Legendary Crew have reached the ceiling, they lift the skies 10 notches up!

I thought I should share possibly the best album of the year.

General Discussion / Re: Best Rap DUO's
« on: July 25, 2011, 09:30:27 PM »
H2O no doubt for me! They had some few joints i really liked. They had Its wonderful, they had Ama gish gish, nice.
Like this other joint where them H20 Dudes are dating n are pussy whipped by this one broad and they dont know shes playing them. That track concept is like they both making a call to this broad rapping over the phone and after each verse, she interrupts"Hold on baby, ive got another call coming wait, dont hang up" then Sphiwe starts rapping while the other nigga waits getting his airtime wasted. nice song nice beat!!!

The track is "Calling Roxanne". Apparently it was a true story.

My fav is: Heltah Skeltah, Blackstarr, H2O and Raekwon and Ghost (Not sure if the count as a duo)

@ Prince

Glad u like the vid. Why do i use the word nigga ? I don't know. Probably cos it sounds cool ? Lol !!!
But i aint the only one though my nigga. A lot of muthaf***en niggaz and bitches mind u, around my way use it on the regular. Bitch a** niggaz too. LOL !!!

i guess it's just one of those hip-hop things. kinda like how we say yo all the time and where baggy jeans with boxers showing out ? no real reason.

Thanx for your response... I nothing against the word, its just I feel that rappers can without the word in their rhymes.

The video is too dope!

Just a question to MR C: As much as I dig your flow (no homo), i'm often bothered by your constant usage of the "N" word. Whats up with that?

General Discussion / Re: MF DOOM Appreciation Thread.
« on: May 22, 2011, 10:01:21 PM »
I think a couple of members in this forum are aware that a couple of downtown(j-sec) promoters are trying to bring Doom this year. According to the promoter(s), booking an artist like Doom has a lot of risks, such as ROI, whether the "real" Doom will be performing...amongst other concerns. Hopefully the they can strike a deal with his dudes. #fingers crossed#

Wu-tang clan - Jah world.
Nas - Black girl lost (Track is still relevant today)
Raekwon - Rainy Days

On the real it seems like Ghostface is the king of sad songs...every 3rd blogger has ghostface on his/her list.

Hopefully the Jocks will have 30-45 min sets, instead of 3 tracks.

Maybe it's me, but the hype around the concert is fizzling...Bringing Doom might help (Hint)

Not a fan!

BUT, i think the more we actually support these not so big acts by going to thier shows, word might spread and before you know it DOOM will be at our door step!

You never know...keep your ears to the group. We might be DOOMed in the near future.

Dude are you trying to tell us something?

Meant to say keep your ears on the ground...You never know.
