General Discussion / Re: Starting to DJ
« on: August 09, 2011, 08:28:06 AM »
Numark NS7 are dope, i seen Hamma tear them up, they handle well and you more than able to cut on them...

they not cheap as far as i can remember, i think you can still get SL's if you look hard enough and a mixer for cheaper.

but for cutting purposes i wouldn't go for anything that's not on the NS7 level or direct drive turntables like SL's,  the only difference is the NS7 is only a digital format product, so you can't play traditional vinyl and so on, whereas the turntables you have an option...

for good prices on Numark get at Hamma here: http://www.facebook.com/roger.heunis

Kool Out Entertainment in a**ociation with Millers, Red Bull, Adidas, and Butan Wear is bringing the legendary Ras Ka** to South Africa to promote his new album A.D.I.D.A.S (All Day I Dream About Spittin)

Known as one of hip hop’s sharpest lyricists, Ra** Ka** released his debut album “Soul on Ice” in 1996 which included the hits “Anything Goes” and “Soul on Ice”. This album was a major hit in South Africa and is widely considered a top 10 cla**ic hip hop album.

His second album “Rasa**ination” contained some of his most intellectual material to date and featured guest appearances from Xzibit and the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, as well as considerable a**istance from superstar West Coast producer Dr. Dre.

Ra** Ka** has gone on to release two more successful albums “Van Gogh” which featured the DJ Premier produced track “Goldyn Child” and “Institutionalized” while joining the hip hop supergroup HRSMN with Killah Priest, Canibus, and Kurupt.

In 2010, Ras released his latest album A.D.I.D.A.S and a viral marketing campaign called Save The Ras Ka**, which included a series of satirical webisodes about the plight of the endangered emcee.

R.I.P. my man!

Please to anyone thinking Zebo's is hip hop related, needs to chill, homeboy had a lot happening to him that unfortunately lead him down this road.

He was misunderstood at the best of times, but that didn't stop this dude from being of the most "Dont give a f*** what you think" people i ever met. We had good times and we had bad times! You will be missed my dude!
