General Discussion / Re: R15000 for a whisky shot
« on: September 20, 2010, 12:22:56 PM »
Was planning to check this spot out because of some broads i know who seem to love it lately. and then i read this. Not so sure. They wont let me in becaus e I'm not rocking an Armani shirt but some hip hop label tee.  Man, it will never make sense to blow R15000 on a shot. You sure they did not put an extra zero there? Still would be dumb to pay R1500 for a shot of anything, even Khanyi Mbau. Unless you are Benni and earn R100 000 a week. still...it's just dumb.

General Discussion / Re: Indian Girls
« on: September 17, 2010, 03:23:55 PM »
Flip, I have never had luck with INDIAN chicks. Other Asians yes (OK, one other Asian). One Indian chick seemed to like me but I figured she thought her parents and friends would never accept a black boyfriend for her. I also thought she would be too emational and attcahed and would make a good wife not a good girlfriend. See what I mean?

Never thought I would still enjoy a Schuster movie but I found this ish funny.

Especially the coloured guys in the snake shop. I almost died.

That and those soccer boys.  I had tears running down my face.

Come on peeps, Mayambela is far from mediocre. He is a raw talent. He can score from free kicks, he can go past players, he can pa** and shoot. he just needs to improve his work rate and take it easy on the show boating at times.

His performance was just him reciting his raps. Exile killed it. Tumi was the dopest. The place was too packed. They still didnt start. Why??? That DJ who was playing before the performances was dope.

Brick and Pyro I know what you mean.
I know a black Engineer from Pretoria who had 6 years experience and was starting for a Masters. He got a job with thie boere firm. Typical boere Engineering firm but different in that they have adapted to the new SA and befriended blacks and are known in gvt circles as a good outfit. So this guy joins them and after a while the boss came to him and said “Lebo, what have you been doing for the past 6 years. You are a clever oke but you know nothing.” Then Lebo explained that in his previous company he got a good salary, nice title (as Pyro suggests) but did not do much actual  hard core work. The boere said “they f….d you up” He says “I needed the money” and proceeded to explain his family situation. Ahh man, heart wrenching stuff. Dude came from the bottom and ended up being the only breadwinner. So he took and stayed at the job even though he knew it was window dressing.
They tried to convince him to drop varsity and just work. Put in the hard hours starting with basic stuff and doing reports, drawings, site work, etc. But he said naahhh “when I get this qualification…I can even earn more in another company”
That’s the challenge.
