Politics / PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don´t worry. We got your backs across the globe.

I was in London in 1998 at the 10 000 blackman march. It was organised by the Nation of Islam. The leader of the Nation in UK said something which has stuck with me ever since. He said: "How can we integrate when as a people we are dis-integrating". This statement requires reflection. You definately have a point Mr/Ms anonymous but we have to also at the same time make sure we don´t dis-integrate further by isolating ourselves.

Why you cats crying. He aint dead yet. Aids is not a death sentence. You can live a long, full life as long as you take good care of yourself.

We need to stay positive.

General Discussion / White Slave in a township near you
« on: May 21, 2003, 02:47:00 AM »
I just read this story and it is mad crazy. I don´t know what to think about it. This 18 year old kid popped up at a police station in Bronkhorstspruit near Pretoria. Apparently this kid was kidnapped in 1991 by a woman who worked for his parents. He forgot his real name and only remembers his new name: Happy Sidane. Now he only speaks Ndebele. He was apparently treated well by his ´mother´ but after she died, his ´grandfather´ treated him like a slave. Is there anyone who maybe went to school with him?

I said most of what you are talking about here in a thread I started a while back: a white boy stole my ghoema.
I´m not gonna start getting crazy over here. I listen to a whole range of hip-hop. Currently I´m feeling Algerian and Japanese hip-hop the most. I know dope (by this I mean truly dope) producer who are white and I can relate to these cats just as much as I can relate to my producer friends who are Black. When we listen to a track by a dope producer, we don´t ask what colour he is, we just feel that same pa**ion. We are by no means living in a perfect world but it is the only one we have and unfortunately in many societies White Skin Priveledge does exist. which is why we should not be scared to talk about these things.

In a country like South Africa we need to work against what apartheid has done to us and start having some of those mixed babies they were so scare of. Then, one day, we will all be one race.

Oh my Go$h, it seems like a few eminem fans are maaaaaad. I think it is already too late to start talking about these whiteboy/blackboy issues because in the end, we are not Americans. I think Americans should do with hip-hop what they feel like. In the words of the artist formerly known as ´Ol Dirty Bastard:
Quote:
Give me a little of that Cracker Jack
You ain´t caramel coated Cracker Jack
The surprise, bitch you gonna get waxed
This that shit, you can´t do nothin about
