it's pointless to compare ourselves to them when we should rather focus on setting our own standards. however names like nyambo hipe and gemini spring to mind...but there's too many nice producers out here anyways.

here's the number
i know it's been said before but the congolese mafia cats are giving these clubs a bad name the way they use racial and tribal profiling on people who enter the joints they are employed in. also they are overly agressive in my view. dunno what they putting in their pap but it appears to have blown their heads out of proportion. the problem stems from the fact that the original owners of the venues are neglecting to come there themselves and witness how their employees act throughout the course of the night. the owners are themselves nice people with good hearts and sound minds who entrust these idiots to run their game which in my view is a complete error. what i've often observed is that as soon as the owner leaves them cats revert back to their hooliganism and treat certain people selectively based on the size of their wallets and the payola factor etc. all these cats do from there on is allow any congolese in the place or anyone of non-south african descent, the rest get second fiddle. this is the type of shit that causes me to leave cape town from time to ttimee because i feel we don't deserve to be treated like this by niggaz who just arrived here the other day found us here and knocked our hustle. zuma fiction swagger marvel you name it i think some restructuring needs to take place before someone gets seriously injured or killed word. until such time i will keep my distance and hope that others do the same, cause in other cities this is not the way things are done, and we all a**ume that since we in capetown there's nothing we can do to change things but we can retaliate in our own way namean?

these are not the views of the station....

when racial profiling still rules the land
suckas need to know how to use your hands
cause takin us out is their usual plan....

i don't think it really matters what an artist calls him or herself for this or that project. the main factor is voice recognition. without naming too many names, there's too many artists who've had the genius to try something new i.e change the name and take it to the next without any problems. if they was your fans to begin with there shoud be no prob with it so long as they remember the voice \cadence they first caught you on.
trust me i change me name like every month

recognise why revolution cannot be televised
cause the sabc spindoctors is tellin lies
and the people beleow the breadline na getting by
these are the pros and cons which cause i dread to rise

it's a pity that graf and hiphop music in general have such a negative reputation in most sectors of mainstream society.  however it remains up to us to remove the blindfolds from them eyes and let the light shine through.

this reminds me of a little-known song form my friend chronic x

'what would you do when it's your turn to make the decision
would you choose your culture or someone else's religion?

it is often a mistake to look at african culture through western eyes. the west has little or no understanding of what it is we do and the reasons and or symbolism behind certain rituals. so the cultural aspect of our lifestle is more often than not a**asinated not only by individulals but by such organ isations as spca and the media machine.that's why we don't talk about our circumsicion rites in the street namean? in retrospect it appears that phony has become the fallguy for any kind of wrongdoing that takes place within our bananarepublic. why they don't leave him be and go back to kebble conspiracies?

my culture is not a tourist attraction' rip.thanduxolo ntilashe aka. indigenoushueman
