I find it relevent posting this here...cos faggotry has reached critical levels

Quote
Police in the sprawling Brazilian metropolis of Sao Paulo are seeking a serial killer they have dubbed the "rainbow maniac" who is suspected of murdering 13 homosexuals over the past year, media reported today.

The victims, all men aged in their 20s to 40s, were found dead between July 2007 and August this year in a park on the city's western outskirts known to be a nighttime meeting place for gay sexual encounters.

All but one were shot, several in the head, according to the Folha de S Paulo newspaper and the news website of O Globo.

One died from blows to the head. The last was shot 12 times.

The daily said the crimes were only now being considered the work of a homophobic serial killer, after initially being investigated individually as simple acts of homicidal violence not uncommon in Sao Paulo.

"The case now has gone beyond the limits of such common crime," the local police chief in the Carapicuiba suburb, Paulo Fernando Fortunato, told the newspaper.

"We are dealing with a suspect who kills homosexuals, exclusively. In his mind, he's cleaning up the place. He doesn't like, he hates homosexuals. Who is he? We don't know."

A team of 15 detectives was now working the case, and each of the murders were being re-examined in light of the new theory. Ballistics tests were underway to see if the same handgun was used.

Officers were using the nickname "rainbow maniac" to describe the sought-after killer, in reference to the multi-coloured logo adopted worldwide by the gay and lesbian community.

One man who frequented the park and discovered three of the bodies was considered an early suspect, but tests for gunshot residue came up negative.

The man, given the pseudonym Leonardo by the Folha de S Paulo in order not to jeopardise his testimony, was now helping officers by acting as a liaison with gays who used the zone where the murders were committed, Paturis Park.

"People know the risk, but they don't care. Paturis is our meeting place and no one is going to stop getting it on there because of this whacko," he told the daily.
