AFRICAN WOMAN

Verse One

African Woman displayed in your splendor and grace/

In true form know you're more than just a body and face/

Brown skin, dark skinned, light skinned woman/

The perfect creation of what we call human/

The respect that you give to the man in your life/

Stay true by his side through the bad and strife/

A good spouse from when the vows spoken/

A Real woman never separates/never broken/

Your sensual being, is a sexual thing/

The sun shines brighter every time you sing/

Through years you have suffered from men's abuse/

Realize your value not an object of use, you're worth more than gold/

Yours is the story that's timeless, and has to be told/

A worthy vessel for this earth, the precious mold/

Everything you give, you get back forty fold/

African Woman – Stay strong for the good of us all because we need you to be there/

African Woman - You are the mother of us all and you are loved so much more than you know/

African Woman – You've been with your child in the cold, and there's a reason why so tight you hold/

African Woman – Forget all the ills of this earth, this love's been there since birth/

Verse Two

The Mother of men you are the true meaning of Beauty/

You deserve the whole nine remunerated fully/

Truly I tell this tale, I never tell a lie/

Bob said when there's no Woman, there's no cry/

So fly when you walk, your touch is so tender/

Slender curves from head to toe/so real you do it slow/

A natural high you give when you pleasure your man/

You conceive the future, birth saviors to relieve the land/

African Women all places, North, South, East, West/

These words are from the heart, from the depths of my chest/

Please hear my call, all Women that never felt fulfilled/

All things you long for will be revealed/

You're more than skilled; you're the keeper of many/

Any and anyhow, anywhere you command respect/

You demand none less, the best and this is oh so true/

Verse Three

What more can I say 'bout the ultimate being/

African Princess or Queen with the look and body mean/

Your aroma transcends to heights, another level/

So high the sky should be made your pedestal/

Never a fool to any man, background, race or creed/

When you're in pain and anguish the family bleeds/

The family needs your attention, certain things never mentioned/

When you're down, I feel my whole plans in detention/

When you're mad, it's so bad I could hold the tension/

You are the teacher, time and time again, lesson after lesson/

Through seasons you stand strong, built to last for long/

It is the man the does you wrong but loves you the most/

You are the alpha after God you are the alter/

Worshipped like an idol, a man dies you're his revival/

You're liable for this world, like a bible you are held in high regard/

The Grand VST - Concert Piano for the Virtual Studio

Steinberg is proud to present The Grand VST. This is no digital piano or ROM player. "The Grand" is a real concert piano based on an intelligent VST engine, and sets new standards in sound quality and playing characteristics. The Grand offers the unique and exciting experience of playing a grand concert piano. The sound quality and playing characteristics are not degraded by any loops or audio compression techniques. The Grand captures every last nuance of musical expression. Steinberg's sound design partner Wizoo has made this possible by painstakingly building this virtual instrument using sounds from an excellent acoustic grand piano -- including dynamics, damper and hammer action as well as sustain and sostenuto pedals. All samples were done in an anechoic chamber maintaining the highest possible quality

Using The Grand is easy thanks to perfect integration into the VST system. The Grand is as easy to use as a concert piano should be -- just sit down, open it and start playing. In addition, The Grand allows individual settings including freely programmable velocity curves, four different sound characters (Natural, Soft, Bright, Hard), a choice between well tempered and concert grand scale tunings as well as control over the amount of ambience.

The Grand VST comes with over 1.3 GB of samples and the samples are streamed from the hard drive. The Grand VST really is the ideal concert grand piano offering stunning sound and musicality for the discerning musician.

mixing and mastering are two completely different things.

mixing is getting the relative levels of the parts in the right balance (which is a highly subjective thing usually decided by the producer and the artist).

mastering is about dynamics, optimising the sound, making it more punchy, warm, and full, while raising the overall level (volume) and highlighting details that aren't already apparent.

Brian Gardner at Bernie Grundman is a mastering don. It doesn't get much better than that.

I would say a lot of the problem with SA hip hop is the mixing and EQing, not the mastering. Not many of us are working in multi-million dollar studios either. Having said that, I'm happy with Planetary a**ault.

I'm going to take the track I just did with Wordsworth to a specialist mastering studio to see if I can squeeze out some extra quality.
Well Said!

Ok! im alittle confused on wht exactly do y'all clarify as a perfect mix and mastered track....
What exactly is a perfect mix/mastered track?
from wat i see everybody as their own view on wat they claim is a perfect mix and mastered track by some producer.

yeah we all have our own opinion, i just read somewhere that 'what you know' was actually ranked as the best mixed a mastered hip hop track ever! im sure thats not the case now but it did have the best doing the job.John Frye seems to be a big name in Engineering as well...

Yeah it has a couple of familiar faces who were unknowns then!such as De'aundre Bonds that was on get on the bus and Artimus Lamont Bentley that was on Moesha and actually died in '05....The movie apart from being a highlight 'black horror' covered areas such as domestic violence, police brutally and racism from a very interesting angle! I liked Tony Todd in the Candy Man series as well.
