« on: October 22, 2010, 10:10:00 AM »Take this as no formal introduction, but this jam was so HOT - I had to let the cat out of the bag by releasing this studio version. The trick is, I had to extract The BAND's vocals out of this version so that I can leave only the guys they feature (Adrenaline Clique) - Why? Some of yo'll might recognize their voices as they have been already in the industry for years.... All I can say about The BAND currently is that they are going to shake this industry so heavily that fakes will spill over.

Producers - Discussion / Back in these streets

Well, as per usual, I go hibernating for a long while and I come back here to rattle some feathers then leave again. This time I have a lil bit of schooling and leaking.
I honestly put in a lot of work that I think may never see the light of day because of politics, laziness and some other errelavent excuses. So first off, hence I paused to ask what I missed on my first post, I wanna re-introduce myself with this beat right here and keep it going....

So this well known mc rocks up to my crib the other day and as per expentancy, a sale is about to take place. But b4 that something happened.
We started talking about the specifics and he somewhat broke down the production as per Producer/beatmaker. He then make mention on ratios that he gives the latter when he buys/requests for beats...
So in short for those that dnt catch up. For 10 beats he requests, he'll rate U by the number he received/taking...making yo ratio 3/10 if 3 beats were chosen.
I now posse a question to you, how important is that ratio or do you practically ignore it?
Do you think it can improve or destroy producing/beatmaking in SA?
Can you list producers/beatmakers ratios?
