The Bridge P-Unit on the Case:

Ace:are yo artists bringing anything new/diffrent to the game ?

D:yes..we in the era where artists are so obsessed with following teen-American trends..u can check my artists from they dress-code to the lyrical content they dont have this retardedness called swag these days..and we had to re-record 8 of Rattex's tracks which contained words like "balling","the N word","whips","bling"..and Sharpa once came from joburg wearing an Amakipkip t-shirt..i ripped it off and gave the P-Unit T he's wearin now.which represent him the most.

Mizi:ladies and gentlemen."if Rattex is not only killin rats but also cats, does not twang and has no swag, put him inda shelves coz he aint a fag"

...thats sum funny stuff man...typical Case material... ;D :D ;D

hiphop is about keeping current and bringin in the future.
not being stuck in the past!

Theres no excuse really.
If you cant satisfy hiphops ever changing fans, then WHY are you still doing it?

Just my opinion.
As a listener and a fan.

The Office / Re: Hype awards. Update
« on: September 15, 2008, 03:24:30 PM »
mmm, for my 2cents worth.... cats could have done more to fill up the venue, where was the support, or are we too busy hating?? as for hymphatic thabs, no sense of self respect or respect for his fans... all i saw was a stoned nicca who was not suppose to be given that platform, then mpho maboi making such a statement about kwaito, brave and very stupid! even if there's truth to that, as a radio personality i think she should have held back. Ace of Spades/Osmic which ever name you go by... (put a sock in it), please someone gagg him!!! but otherwise, it was quite an enjoyable event, and im sure from here, Hype can only make an even better awards ceremony. congratulations to everyone who was nominated and especially the winners. Ready D, nice speech, was good seeing Proverb on stage again, Ben Sharpa- nice performance, actually hype was introduced me to Ben Sharpa with Hegemony, and i lurrrrrved that track, tumi/zubz big ups, Pro congratulations, and nice to see you sharing your moment of glory with upcoming talent, uhhhh... the chick dancers who won that cash load, were real good! to all the graf artists liked your artwork on the walls. overall, well done!

huh Mpho Deane Ace of Spade is his radio name just like any radio personality who have a radio name and u should know better than that but BIG TO MIZI AND SIMM..catch them on the bridge tonite on 99.2fm 10pm...

Actually Nyambo asked if we could call him so he can explain cause he's (HIS) name was mentioned by AQ earlier in the interview about the track. i really wont entertain you but its fine.u just an angry person who needs to deal with their issues.Again please dont disrespect Lee,me well i dont care if u swear at me or not.

Aaaah...much better isnt it Danny??!!
This prolly explains why you have a career in radio.
It doesnt take much brain power to vomit, shit, even corpses vomit involuntarily weeks after being dead.
Anyway...f*** you again ok??
And f*** your show.

lol......now i know who u r....lol

As far as i know (fell asleep in the beginning of the show, so i stand corrected)
There was a track on the Ba4za album which has the exact same beat as a mos def track, but it was claimed that either Nyambz or AQ produced it on the cover sleeve... So no one could give a proper explanation as to who made the beat and how the song came about

Thank you.
That wasnt so hard was it?
Now...nobody really cares who made that beat.
That must make Lee a stupid bitch for actually caring.
Matter-Fact, Nyambz should k-a-f-f-i-r-klap the pigment out the left side of her face for having the nuts to call him so late at night demanding answers to such a stupid question.
So...long story short, f*** Lee and the bridge for making a huge hoo-haa over something that turned out to literally be nothing.
People rap over or jacked beats all the time. The only person loosing face or credibility here is Lee for being the ape she is and trying to instigate shit.
Maybe i should call her up at 3.26am tommorow morning and ask her what she had for breakfast on the 21st of August 8yrs ago, and what colour her shit turns after she eats beatroot.
Stupid bitch.
Im pissed off cos i was expecting to hear something of significance which actually turned out to be monkey talk.
f*** Lee...and f*** Y-fm (except for uDaddy).

first u dont disrespect Lee and secondly the show when u dont know what ur talking about. As the show we decided to find out the truth and know the whole story. What happened was Kenny is doing a mixtape with Dj Static Bahamadia's dj and he was playing his favourite tracks from Gauteng and when he played the B4AZA Track Static was like he knows the track its Mos Def's track. The beat is similiar so we had to find out what happened.please get the whole story before you disrespect people...TTP

uuuuhh...public board right?? Free country much?? A little freedom of speach maybe??
Well then...f*** you too.
Dont talk to me about disrespecting people, when you call up a grown a** man who has nothing to prove to you lames up at ungodly hours expecting him to respond to your vomit. Fair enough... You had just as much right to call dude up looking for shit, it is afterall your constitutional right. In the same light, its very much within my rights to cuss you the f*** out during "normal people" working hours. Cos i know it would prolly be disrespectfull for me to call you up when you half asleep and do so.
Your show still sux by the way. And so does Lee.
Have a great day...oh, and Jesus loves you ok! Smile!

If u look at the footage, we let Tumi finish what he wanted to say, then we wanted to speak, and they took the mics away from us. I see its okay for tumi to cause a scene, but its not okay for us to show the people who werent there, exactly how stupid tumi looked up there throwin a BF? Favouritism?

Theres double standards in SA hiphop. and i guess were on the wrong side of the fence.
I would like to have a real time talk with Tumi about this actually.

And yall know what wud hav happened if we did not get off that stage! so stop acting like we didnt do the right thing by stepping off! at that point i looked up at Mizi, thought of Nthabi and Simone and all the hard work they did and i was like " If we leave, the show will go on! if we stay! The whole gig wud be shut down. We did the right thing.
[/quote]

ok Crackboys it doesnt matter if it was Jay-Z or Tumi or even Jub-Jub on stage what u guys did was not on.If u took time to hear other performances and heard their message instead of running around shooting footage maybe u would have learned something BOYS. I gave that MIC to Tumi cause he understood y he was there, not show off or push his new cd but to support those whose are affected by Violence. We are tired of immature rappers that use every single chance to try shine even at a charity event....they say two heads are better than one maar you guys are the opposite of that....ten heads of stage with no direction...guys get ur act together....its not the state here....but T.I.A (THIS IS AFRICA). we respect each other we have UBUNTU...
