House music on the radio during the day. I just came home from campus. I do not want to dance! Is it not enough that I can't go into town over the weekend without my ears being damaged by the sounds of this bundu-bash!

People who eat in the taxi. That KFC will clog your artery and you will have a heart attack. Then the taxi will get into an accident.

I remember a debate on AG about the difference between the 'Conscious rap' of the likes of Slum Village, Lupe Fiasco, Little Brother and the 'Conscious rap' of the likes of Immortal Technique, Lost Children of Babylon and the 'Conscious Rap' of Aesop Rock, Cannibal Ox, etc.

Until now conscious rap has meant anyone who is not in the mainstream. This made it confusing for the listener or fan to hear their favourite conscious rapper talking about cash, a**, hoes, and cars...albeit it with their conscious twist.

The conscious rapper is not dead. There will always be a place for emcees who are not afraid to raise certain issues. The only difference now is that we are able to tell the bullshitters from the real-doers.

Hyphe, who now wants to be known as hyphlife, just sent me three tracks from his solo project. Will be bumping these on the show. I'll ask him if it is okay to upload some of those here on AG.

Boiling Points, which was supposed to be the follow up to 3rd World Hustle has been in the making for more than 5 years. Different reasons for this not materialising, including personal misfortune, lack of focus and some disagreements.

Still believe fully in these cats though. Cape Town is so underground bound!
