Any record label making it past their first birthday is a triumph, let alone their 20th. But although Ninja Tune isn't strictly a hip-hop label, they do put some out some banging rap tunes, and so to celebrate their 20th birthday (and to say thank you for letting us swing by their huge shindig this past weekend) we're throwing on some cla**ic material. Motion Man and DJ Vadim. It'll put holes in your socks.
Plus, we have shiny new material from both Ill-Literate Skill (who we're going to be interviewing in the next couple of weeks) alongside Skyzoo and Illmind - and is that an Alias/Modenine LP dropping this weekend? Get in there!

No. Truth be told, I got Mad Raper to buy into a pyramid scam, just by chatting to him on AG. I got him to involve all his relatives too, so now I have around R10m. I need to spend it on something. I might even send Rapes a bottle to say thanks.

You would not believe the number of people who got in touch to say they wanted to hear more Joell Ortiz. That Battle Cry joint we dropped last week clearly sparked some fires. And because it is only one-fifth of Ortiz's free new EP Farewell Summer, we thought we'd drop another joint. And what a joint. Joell, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae and Brother Ali on ONE TRACK? Yowzer!
Oh, and your usual mix of Czech DJs, Cape Town Xhosa kids, East Coast brawlers and Canibus. Who doesn't really fit into a category.
