Hot Traxxx / Bux Full Track featuring Parrisher and Supreme available for
« on: February 05, 2003, 07:48:00 PM »
Some Real ish.
Supreme´s flow is ill. I admit Jhb cats are getting some heavy competition.

"andina mali" damn! I hope that the higher powers are listening.

What does it take to get this track playlisted on Yfm, Metro, etc. Heads, lets get together and push this to the next stage.
And, what does it take to press  ish onto vinyl, are there dj´s interested. I propose that that through the OG´s of this site we set up a section dedicated to industry schooling , relevant to SA of course. Like Thabiso and Bradley had on VOS but on some next ish. You´ll Dig?

Q. Are those cats in PE down with Bantu Nation, I mean "comrade" Sincere and the likes?

Big UP to PE HIPHOP!

General Discussion / Do You Support Bush´s Quest To Go To War With Iraq?
« on: January 30, 2003, 06:24:00 AM »
I agree. Although it may seem like I was being lenient towards the US, I am definitely not their supporter. They are the nucleus of most of the world problems. We all know that, its a fact. I was just pointing out the issues around this main issue. I also mentioned the Krs-1 comment to show how American citezens are so confused. Is it propaganda?
But more worringly, is what are the other countries doing about it. And does hiphop have a role?

I also wonder, if america does attack what will be their target. Will it be somewhere the inspectors have not checked? and where is that place?

What will there future be? Are niggas ready?

"Iraq is no threat to the world" well I am not sure about that one. I do not trust any country that has(or might have) nuclear weapons.
Some of you might know about the Baby Babylon missile launcher that was aimed in the direction of Israel.

But definitely there is something very wrong with the US´s beef with the oil-rich country. First they said that they want to attack because Iraq will not let UN-Inspectors in the country but now that Iraq suprised everyone and done this, they say that they still have reasons, unknown to us, to attack.

Interestingly France and Germany do not want a war. France wants to resume trade with Iraq as soon as possible. Russia also opposses war because Saddam owes about them 8billion dollars. I am not sure where South Africa stands on this issue.

We are definitely in the new world order, the US just bullies every one around. Tony Blair is the yes boy.

Hiphop & the War?
I heard Krs on the wakeupshow saying that America should attack if chemical are proved to exist in Iraq. His argument was that he feels that some people hate America, so they should defend themselves.
I have not heard from other "hiphop activists" such as PE, or XClan. How are the emcees in South Africa adressing the issue? The Djs?

General Discussion / Is the cream on top really that hot?

Ther only way to definitely prove they are wack is to drop an album tighter than theirs. When will that be? The problem with Jhb emcees is they want all want to do an album with Dj Premier and no one else.

I am in Europe right now and POC is the crew that most people know out of SA. It is ironic that they are the greatest Azanian crew to the rest of the World but do not deserve this according to some "SOUTH AFRICANS".

thankx
for the negetive[sic] critisism. Actually, you are right that is one of my old beats, made on a PI with Roland909 software emulator, while I was in SA. Right now I am in Germany and production here is Dope.

What do software do you other producers use?
Since there is an interest I will put up more recent beats and the judges shall decide. I´ll holler when that´s done!

We should have a panel of judges and/or a criteria for judging the beats. Comming off and saying that my beat is "wack" and not give reasons why does not move jack forward. Let´s hear your beats too.

Peace

"Wild Nice!" You should record this in the booth, soon. Or one of these biters will do it before you. You need Beats?
