4 weeks ago I've just started my new job at a postal delivery service and
unlike the place where I used to work at (but now only part time) the people I work with are ok but not really cool as the people at the place before.

Well, one of the ladies I work with looks like a really hot attractive 20-30 year old but heres where it hits, SHE'S A 33 YEAR OLD GRANDMA!!!!!!!!
(btw her oldest son is 18.)

Is it just me or is the world comming to an end?

Yes, most (or some) of us at AG are familiar with various music from Hip-Hop, Kwaito, Baile Funk, Electro...............lemme get to the point, I can't believe Roll Deep's own frontman and one of the most innovative and famous MCs and beatmakers in the Garage scene is quitting ! Wiley has
announced he's throwning the towel, for now. Who knows? He may be pulling a DMX or a Jay-Z?

Media / Neo Nazi Music Duo targets Dave Chappelle. WTF?!
« on: January 02, 2007, 06:51:18 AM »
I read this from my mom's email and noticing that this was about a
the Hatecore Pop duo "Prussian Blue" I was interested in reading the
provocative article. Dave Chappelle pissed them off??? BWWWHAHAHAHAHAH! Anyways, here's the article. enjoy 8O  :o

What does it mean for Black America, that a hate-preaching music duo could debut on the Billboard albums chart?

This week, the Billboard albums chart's top five is packed with nothing but new releases, with Bakersfield, CA Pop duo, "Prussian Blue" shocking the nation by taking 4, after selling 91, 000 copies of "End of A Black World" its first week out. The album is also serving as the soundtrack to a remake of one of the most controversial movies in U.S. history, "Birth Of A Nation".

"End of A Black World" is the third and most successful album for 12 and 13 year old Lamb and Lynx, who have recently relocated to a private compound in Salt Lake City, Utah after their last album gained them national attention and death threats. The girls were lost, especially in December of 2005 when their father was shot twice by an AME Minister.
However, their father survived and their career was revived by what
seems to be an unfathomable paradigm shift in American values.

"It really breaks my heart to see those two girls spewing out that kind of garbage, " said Ted Shaw, civil rights advocate and president of the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund.

"This is bullshit. Right now I am more so shocked that an album
advocating the extermination of the black race could be so widely
received by America, " continued Shaw, who plans to protest the girls' album and call for black artists to boycott Billboard.

Jessie Jackson of The Rainbow PUSH Coalition gave the following
statement, "White America has spoken. Billboard has spoken. This is only the beginning."

The beginning is just what Lynx and Lamb, who have been nurtured on racist beliefs since birth by their mother April, are hoping for. "We hope to bring about change in our people, " said Lamb. "We hope that our album and Birth Of A Nation will show our people exactly what needs to be done to make this country safe and white."

When asked about their inspiration for their latest efforts, Lynx gave this response. "I saw white people hating white people. I was afraid that America wanted to be black, " said Lynx. "I saw that funny nigger's show where he made a mockery of the KKK and white people were laughing. This broke my heart."

Lynx was speaking of Actor/Comedian Dave Chappelle and his comic sketch depicting a blind, African American, Ku Klux Klan leader who was unaware that he was not white. Dave Chappelle is also believed to be the inspiration of their single, "Funny Nigger, " which describes the gruesome fate of blacks who taunt whites. Dave Chappelle was not available for comment.

Prussian Blue appear to have gone from one of America's dirty little
secrets to Pop princesses overnight. The group is now fielding offers from major record labels such as MGM and Geffen. This may be only the beginning.

When reading about the cartoon, Family Guy on the Wikipedia site,
it listed the countries that have banned the cartoon and South Africa
was listed!

Is there some type of political reason why the cartoon is banned
from the country??

Hot Traxxx / ICP and other Horrorcore mess
« on: August 05, 2006, 04:20:12 AM »
Just out of curiousity.....I'm gonna ask this question:

Is Horrorcore popular in Africa? I know that most heads here are familiar with Necro and the whole Uncle Howie camp and some others may remember the Gravediggaz (cla**ic), but what about the Insane Clown Posse??

I remember them from their appeances at WCW and WWF (now WWE) wrestling matches but I didn't really get into them until 5 years ago. Their music was pretty cool at first at a time when almost everyone hated (and still hates) them until I found out the one of my friends that I haven't seen in years was a Juggalo (a fan of ICP). I would say that ICP are ok but stay away from Juggalos. These are people who take ICP to heart (even though not all ICP fans aren't that zealous). Juggalos like my friends play nothing but ICP and everything from Psycopath Records 'till you become sick of it !

Being my birthday and all, I was wondering if anyone had any
Prophets of the City CDs.  I've heard that the first 3 CDs were
very rare since they were banned durring apartheid but the others
(except for Universal Souljas) were hard to buy out of SA.

I think that they should reissue their stuff or have a "Best of"
compilation.

P.S.: Yesterday with my niece was cool. No mentioning of the
        "M" word what so ever.

General Discussion / When Child Show Presenters Go Bad
« on: July 26, 2006, 04:04:47 AM »
Yesterday, my niece, a big fan of a PBS (the network that brings us Sesame Street) program called "The Good Night Show" began asking
me about her favorite presenter, a lady named Melanie. I was sort of familar with the character but yesterday I found out that she was canned by the network because of an adult comedy skit she appeared in 7 years ago (before she was hired to do the kids show).

I saw the 2 skits, which were 30 second parodies of Sex education videos. I thought that tapes would be inappropriate but they were
made 7 years ago and they weren't that bad. It wasn't a prono and
it wasn't like she still made them.

I know that her character was supposed to set a good role for kids and all that mess but then again, the past comes back to haunt them (and they get fired for a pointless 30 second parody). The question is.....who am I gonna break this to my niece? You be the judge.

Here's the news about the whole incident:

Movie Talk / NZ THROWBACK!!! : Once Were Warriors soundtrack
« on: July 25, 2006, 05:48:08 AM »
Has anyone seen the New Zealand film Once Were Warriors?

Years ago, I've heard about the film and someone told me that
it was a good film about a f***ed up situation; Domestic Violence.

The film takes place in a Maori project and in the begining of the
film, the husband tells the wife that he lost his job before he's
about to knock boots but she gets pissed and then he goes to the
bar. Later he brings his drinking buddies to the house (the wife
gets drunk too) but when the wife refuses to cook one of the
drinking pals some eggs, the violence commences...............

Apart from the drama, there were some good tunes from the movie.
I think The Upper Hut Posse, one of the early Hip-Hop groups from NZ
were in the beginning and another song of theirs "Ragga Girl" was in the
film as well. When I searched for the soundtrack on Amazon, some of the music featured traditional Maori music but there were alot of Roots Reggae tune (NZ made) and some NZ Hip-Hop and R&B.

One song that was really popular from the movie was the Reggae song "What's the time Mr. Wolf?" by Reggae band South of Bombay.
I thought that OWW was a great film but the soundtrack was also tight.
This is from way back in 94 mind you, here's the link:
