Hey my good ppl, I've got a question.Which of these 2 proggies is better for downloading purposes?Or are there better ones out there? The probs that many progs of that nature have is that they are not virus proof........so that sucks quite some. Are there any progs of the same nature that can block viruses while online? Thanks in advance.

On 15th March, 2006 at 11pm (Wednesday......a week from now) u can catch one of the tightest new smooth jazz acts coming out.Guitarist/vocalist/composer Wesley Solomon will be entertaining the ma**es at Zula Sound Bar in Long Street, CT, around 11pm.Dude's got the whole band doing their thing there.Gonna perform tracks off his unreleased debut, hitting end of the year.

Part member of Maquina Loca, which also boasts a member of Freshlyground, Wesley's been on the scene for a long time but recently started crafting his solo album. He's worked with the likes of Alvin Dyers, Inner Child (one of the tightest jazz ensemble bands in SA), Jerusha, and he's recently returned from a tour in South America.

Btw, one of the most down to earth dudes u'll meet..........and he's gonna be working with HIPE on some madd vibes soon.Do urself a favour, take ur loved ones along and go check this one night only performance. Will be well worth it.Oh, his last single "Scribe Me" was featured on Going Nowhere Slowly as well as on P4's top 10.His second single's making the rounds in CT on commercial radio. He'll be looking to get it out to the greater SA soon.Enjoy!!!Don't miss out.  :!:  :!:  :!:

Producers - Discussion / Sample Clearance in SA
« on: March 05, 2006, 12:49:10 AM »
I know Dok asked this one a short while back, but I'mma wondering has an indie sample clearance company started up as yet to deal with the issue of sample clearance for labels and/or artists/producers alike?

In that same breath, what, currently, is the best way to go about getting a sample cleared for usage on a track? Those in the know, hit me up on this asap.Thanx and much appreciated in advance.
