or pay the rent in income tax feedback
to keep your siblings’ visions imprisoned like c max for their prelims
better to get it twisted than to relax
the victory lap’s littered with speed traps
disguised as readable maps to help reach destiny faster
the real fact is they don’t teach jack!
all around i see blacks consciously watered down
like decaf teabags getting ordered around and it’s morally doubtful
like economy out to oust you
who honourably toils away underground all day till late
safe to call it propagation of poverty, cape property rates
and all considered a normal nigga working a formal 9-5 position
only just survives in this city
and it’s shittier still for so called minimal skill labourers
(yes, this is what most of my role models is labelled as)
in this day and age imagine having caucasian havens
in this very land adjacent to zimbabwe of all places
but wait it holds for all races
cos even in the streets i seen bill gates and not in the form of toll roads
i’m talking of lost souls projecting wealth and investing self like whores
but moreso – also process thought from lower torso
balls colossal – the gawl to call it progression
