I neva looked at it from that angle...hiphop+FBI???....
I thot thoze dudes hated hiphop.... its kinda interesting thought to look at things from multiple dimensions...
They only ever took an interest in it to control it. My train of thought was simmillar to Syntactics. For me all the rap stars were and still are, are puppets on a string. You sign you rights to a record major who answers to some politicised f*** and at the end of the day you don't have shit to say except what they want you to. Form there on you get to perpetuate habits that maintain ridiculous levels of poverty and crime.
Also, I thought at one stage that the govenrment (US), penetrated the Hip Hop industry with the likes of Eminem, Nas, Biggie, Tupac, basically all you big shots so that they could maipulate shit. For me when Tupac spoke about uniting gangs and forming an power within the Superpower which is the US he was rebelling that is why he got shot. Why do you think Marley was shot at some point? He was a threat. The govenrment still needs slaves to this day, so they don't allow for any major change in the existing inequalities of the system which is capitalism.
Black panthers are gone, Martin is gone, Malcom X is gone, any body who had the guts to say we need to make a change from within ourselves was destroyed. Pac died a rebel, that black panther blood was strong in his veins.
