Geek Section / Computer Problems

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend version 7.0 to Wife version 1.0.
I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity.
Applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6.
I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favourite applications.
I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0.
Please help!

Thanks,
A Troubled User.

REPLY:

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program.
Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this.
Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support.
I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the situation.
I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software called Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,
Tech Support

Kev Brown commentary talking about his beats while playing them out the MPC. He talks about how he doesn't use samples all the time for his tracks like most people think and how he uses the MPC to it's full potential and he uses MIDI. It's about 1hr. long, so enjoy!

*An airplane is flying over the ** United States** at night.

The pilot says:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the plane is losing altitude and all the baggage must be thrown out."

A little later, the pilot says:

"We're still losing altitude, we must throw anything out that is in the cabin".

The plane continues its descent despite more things being thrown

out.

Pilot: "Still going down - we must throw out some people". There's a big gasp from the pa**engers!

Pilot: "But to make this fair, pa**enger will be thrown out in

alphabetical order.

So... A... any Africans on board?" No one moves.

"B... any Blacks on board?"

 No one moves.

 "C... any Coloureds on board?"

 Still, no one moves.

 "D... any Darkies?

A little black boy - asks his dad:

 "Dad,...what are we?

Dad: " Tonight son, we are Zulus**  !!! *

http://geocities.com/samplecatalog/

About the program

SampleCatalog, as you might've not guessed, catalogs sampled sounds. Well, not entirely. It catalogs pretty much any type of file.
There are quite a few cataloging programs out there, so why this one? Well, I have searched and searched and searched for a program to catalog my samples, but none of them had ALL the stuff I was looking for.
Sure they were huge and you could pay for them a few bucks, but I didn't wanted to pay for 5,000 features I will never use. I wanted to pay for features I needed, but they didn't quite have. Or not the way I wanted it.

Features

Custom libraries
Customizable categories
Category filtering with boolean support
Support for export/import of category templates
Drag and drop to/from other music programs
Customizable file format support
Powerful search
One click category a**ign
User comments for individual libraries and samples
Easy sample preview
Windows Explorer style interface
Full documentation in HTML Help format

Hope your workflow, did I just say Flow... hehe ,improves

General Discussion / Music Sale Models

Just wanted to find out how people feel about
using online sales outlets to cop ish with your VISA etc
accounts.

Generally Recording Companies & Distributors are following a correlation
to online sales due to the declining CD sales hierarchy.

eCommerce is a cash cow as of recent, including core advertising space
& goodies. iTunes is relaxing on Digital Rights & Industry heads know
that this is the way forward, in this new MONEY market.

Peeps will dl multimedia from warez/torrent sites, but the big picture is
not that blurry in countries where consumer spending behaviour
compensates 4 these anomilies.

It's not about physical CD sales these days, that's the old paradigm.

whut do ya'll skeem.

DIVX/DVD/MP3 etc 2.5" Hard Drive Multimedia devices

Ever wanted to rock your lappy sized harddrive in your vehicle or home.

You could connect it to a Touch Screen DVD car Player + the unit comes with a remote control too.

Those iPod Days are becoming slim.
Copy and paste the ish that'll entertain you without that blerrie iTunes
or Mullti-Media Control software.
