Whats dope/ nice? Whatever u feelin. All a matter of opinion, and at the end of the day, dopeness is in the ear of the beholder. It's all subjective. U may link up with ppl that also find summin dope, but they prolly feel it differently from u, and may find it dope 4 different reasons. Dont let this "common opinion of dopeness" trap u in a hive mentality, or experience ma** hysteria and try to draw a solid, fine line between dope and wack. Its all subjective.
Yes, many times the majority will agree on summin being dope or wack, but if i'm the only guy feelin britney or sum otha shit which every1 esle thinks is wack, its still dope 4 me. Maybe i even experience mo joy listening to britney than her haters when they bump whatever it is they like. All that matters is that i like it. If theres mo cats like me, gr8, coz now i can talk 2 sum1 about it, and bump it around them and still preserve my health.
If asked wether i find summin dope, i'll state my opinion. If asked wether i think other peeps will find summin dope, i try and predict others' opinions.
On a different, note, i think sum ppl dont even know what they like, and they jus go with the crowd. And there's a lot of them. I was always 1 o dem cats that got albums early b4 peeps even knew who the artist was sumtimes. Niggas find me bumpin this new shit and they tell me its wack, i'm crazy (when i first got busta), etc. etc. Months later the video comes out, the singles hit the radio, and all of a sudden the same haters are lovin it.... and i got my sanity back. :x
