If you guys had a situation where you had to choose between Timbaland beats and Aftermath Dre Beats, which producer would you choose and why? (I only mention these two because in my opinion they're like gods when it comes to rap/hiphop...)

Haha! Ja it's difficult nuh?   I mean my personal favorites are

Timbaland : Ugly - Bubba Sparxxx
Dre :  Anybody Murderer - Dr Dre

But if you look at the vibes their beats bring you'll see it's a lot different
Dre's is more gangsta while Timbaland has these lekker club beats more commercial type shit - but seriously - I choose Timbaland - simply because I'm gatvol of hearing Dre's name - all major artists have been produced by Dre some time or another!
Anyone else wanna share an opinion?

No Doubt, that Tuff Jew Storch done paid madd dues. He's learnt a whole lot from timbo and dre and is now getting his shine on heavily. He's everywhere, like Dre and Timbo.

As for Jigga writing it, Dre hasnt made much bones bout the whole ghostwriting thing.I mean there're so many ppl writing for him for his new album, its crazy. Also, Hittman did a lot of writing for Dre on his last release.

TIMBERLAND- never quite liked DRE.
hip hop is my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the lines and curl my back to reality-
the beat washes away from my soul the dust of everyday life-

This is exactly what happens, coz ghost producers do exist as much as ghost writers do...And a usual suspect when it comes to ghost producing, Jay Dee (R.I.P), and I heard J Rawls be on that shit to...

Dre' with snoop - what's my name and Gin and juice, but not my fav producer. But think about it a producer do get the credit and the engineer like scott is well taking orders from dre' like yo i don't like that snare close it off or something like.

scott is not an engineer. he's the creative brainchild of most of these songs.

I'm against ghostwriting to be honest. You basically lying to the consumer. Music shouldn't be made solely for the sake of money. My opinion.

King daniel:
Well son, the facts speak against what u 'believe' to be true.

One thing that needs to be mentioned is that references here too are based on power. A producer working under someone else might also merely get co-production credits, even though they made th whole damn thing. When producers start working for other producer. They can go without any form of credit for a long time.

Dre can do this cuz he's a brand name.
