985 BEEFING WITH THE ESSENCE

Whats up to all who have not gotting the 411 or should I say 985 on whats been going down. Recently The Essence had a show that was dedicated to "One Hit Wonder Tracks" and during the show, the Listeners where asked, who they think will not make it and be considered a "One Hit wonder", and your usual suspects such as "Crazy-lu" and "Pyfo" where named, and one caller said 985"is a one hit wonder" and then people started expressing there views about it. Some agreed and others disagreed. Then we got the Rap activity jam that saw Draw come on and throw a couple of lines at Kamza for apparently "Attacking 985 when it was the listeners that said it". So yesterday the Essences invited 985 to resolve this issue like gentleman but it seemed like we were going around in circles, so it ended on the note of 985 wanting to prolong the beef. And too add the cherry to the top, through out the show cats was calling in and hating on The Essences.

What Do you think about the issue at hand?

Ha Ha I Know but if you heard it 985 was going around in circles and there arguement was pointless 8O 8O . I'm glad Kamza acted the right way and didnt beat around the bush

I was a bit confused and disappointed in the way things were handled. :?
I don't understand why ish was taken so personal.
Fact is, not everybody is going to like your music. It's not necessarily an attack on you as an individual, it just simply means that cats aren't feeling your stuff. It comes with the package of releasing you product to the public. If you're not going to handle crtisicm very well then don't release your ish.
What's next????Are the audience also going to be threatened if they boo you off stage....Come on bra...let's grow up and stop beefing over petty ish....it such a damn shame :? :? :?

What up Nthabz? Its true I do think they need to grow up, but as you heard yesterday, they also threatend Fungayi for the bad review. Anger mangement, I think for those of us who are serious about music know that critics are always there. What I really hated was the Childish swearing phone calls, because there was never hate before 985 got into studio, my guess is they are trying to break down the Essence

Maaan thats what i'm thinking...anyway i think as The Essence we were disappointed with the way 985 handled themselves especially since we didn't owe them a second of airtime, but did it in the quest for transparency. They could've used their time on the show more constructively by rallying their fans to support them instead of working against us.

We don't do beef - we do honest opinions and that won't change.

Dplanet its yours and you're entitled to it my friend. I'd spoken to Fungayi about that and i'd read your side of the story in the interview you did recently so its nice to have gotten both sides of the story...my opinion on the matter? Well it'll remain exactly that....mine
