I´m down. I got some equipment, except that my  mic is f***ed up. I bought a new "Studio" Mic this month and i´m waiting for a new mixer next month, after that it´s on. By the way does anyone know how i can sound proof my vocal booth ? Where do i get studio foam at ?

Ok here´s the deal.

I looking to release my own compilation early next year, around March on my own label "Land Mines Entertainment". I´m still in the process of settin up the label. Studio wise, it´s still very limited. I´m bulding the studio in a room outside my grandma´s house in Meadowlands, Soweto.

I currently got :

PC
CoolEdit
GoldWave
Audacity
Recycle
+- 200 Vynils for sampling purposes
Fruityloops,
Casio CTK-6 something keyboard for MIDI
Gemini Mixer ( to be replaced with a small Berhinger mixer next month).
Some R1500 Studio MIC (forgot the name)

I will be getting the following soon,
Reason,
Studio Monitors ,
A Vocal booth
Some studio foam for soundproofing or maybe "egg-crates"


I have already recorded about 4 tracks with some dudes around the way with a cheap a**-mic and the shit has potential, so if you wanna be down, send me some vocals on mp3 if you have them, or otherwise send me your best verse at carl.thobane@hp.com and i´ll see if i can put u on. If you wanna come down and lay some shit holla at me as well i´ll give u directions to my house.
