UDABA In Native Dialect
Theme of session is,Bow Exchange, a continuance of the Native Dialect spoken word sessions delivered here last year. This time it comes with a dynamic collaboration of indigenous bows/harps, (uHadi, uGubhu), with their western equivalents, (Guitar, Violin, Double ba** Guitar and more). This is accompanied by intense Xhosa venicular spoken word, which encompa**es the whole production which focuses on different communicating methods that we beings use.
Instruments are played by University of Cape Town music undergraduates and University of Fort Hare African Linguistics ungergraduates, Alice Eastern Cape. Spoken word by (Sakhile Moleshe) and Mathintela (Sibusiso Mnyanda) jazz band, uDaba.
