Thread deletion...I suspect that threads don't get stolen they go missing.

I did mention this some time ago and have been doing a little detective work...what cats do is click in the left panel..a thread dies and the can't find it coz people put politics threads in the office threads.then they don't know where to find them I bet if you use the search functionality you will find it.

I agree with briCK. my suspicion is that when mods are clearing up, they accidentally delete stuff.

People should learn to cla**ify their posts properly, but I have to agree, the search functionality is terrible - I don't think I have ever successfully found anything using the search dialogue box. I know Google charges a fortune for their high-end search engine to be implemented on sites, but there must be an alternative.

I'm always amazed that Tate can find stuff - hence the name, 'The Librarian'
