Are there any tight Female producers

In my research I've yet to find a female producer, are there any tight female proders out there. Please shed light.

Jean Grae has been known to cook. She did stuff for the likes of PumpkinHead, as well as for Natural Resource (her old crew back when she was still called What? What?)

EJ from Godessa has some pretty dope stuff.
She produced some of the tracks on their latest album.

EJ, no question. Nice to know one of the (few) female producers around is from Cape Town!

Why is that, by the way? That so few women produce? Sunshine told me it was an issue to do with technology, as in stereotypes becoming applied to real life and girls not wanting to ufck with technology. What do you think.

I'd really like to be more involved in the production of my music. Just don't know about the technical side like the mixing & mastering and all....that stuff is difficult bra, but I'm open to learn though. :wink:

E.J is has such wholesome and varied musical tastes, she's a cool person too!

@Rob: I dunno where peeps get the idea that girls are not tech junkies. hell, I've shown a few cats a thing or two. I've always been interested in programs and how things work. I taught myself adobe audition, final cut pro...I like to fidget . I think girls are slower on the hustle but not less interested. Equipment costs money, production takes time, a woman's work is never done, its almost as if you never quite get round to sitting down and doing it coz there is s much other stuff to do. Personally That's how I feel.
