YOUNG JEEZY - Discussing the current state of Hip Hop. Defending his craft, Jeezy makes remarks about Nas coming back saying hip hop is dead.
“You got Nas coming back, sayin hip hop is dead. Who is he to say hip hop is dead.”
It then went into questioning Nas’ street credibility…
“Nas ain’t no street nigga. He ain’t been in no street. So Nas ain’t done anything he talk about … Nas bust his guns? Nas been on the block? Do Nas have street credibility? Is any of Nas’ homies in the FEDS?”
“If Nas say hip hop is dead. I say hip hop is alive. Tell him to holla at me!”

Hey I'm just thinking here, excluding pYROKINETIX (what up dun), you guys are a crew right. So I'm guessing the whole time you're togther you're recording that crrraaaack e.t.c. So, do you do the A.G. thing together too?

Nas outsold Jeezy in that first week. he even went pa**ed gold before him. in fact, Nas is still ahead of Jeezy.Jeezy needs to drop an 'Illmatic' before he can holler at Esco. i'd check myself before getting at a consistent MC whose sales are reasonably good even though his music shies away from gimmicks.

Nas been on a decline though the last couple of years.....The move the Def Jam was a good one, Nas is a talented artist no doudt....But even with Illmatic under his belt he still not rated amongts the best entertainers of all time.....sellin millions consistantly aint no childs play, and Nas is a kid when comes to those numbers....Jay, Pac, Biggy, those cats r a true success stories when it comes to Hip Hop....doin what they do and stickin with it cos what they did wasnt always excepted...but they took the top spot cos they brough somethin different to the game...Just cos ur hip hop is not all metaphorical and shit dont mean its simpler and or if its jiggy its dumbed down....its just a different kinda sound!!! Jeezys claim has reasonable doubt.....Nas hasnt been holdin down!
