Okay get this......whateva it is that they doing, if they successful and eating then its all good! My point is....if what u doing is making success and it works out for u dont mean thats the only way to do it...even if u dont make a success its still not the most original way to that whateva it is u doing. Theres a difference when a cat does something wack, whether mainstream or underground...then when a cat is tite and is respectin all kinds and styles of music regardless of the outcome of his musical successes......some just wana hate on a different kind of music cos they aint doing well with their....then they blame the media and shit...this is pathetic..!!! he'll tell u exactly what he told me! our so called mainstream hiphop(vernac kasi shit!) is not selling! some of these labels are paying for the CDs to be kept on the shelves,musica is returning most of them to the label! FACT! zulu mob sold 700 copies! i then asked him! WHAT is SELLING!? he said, MOSTLY house music, gospel and afrikaans music locally, even kwaito sales are bad in the past few YEARS!

he told me 50 cent sold 22,000 copies that month, in that store and DJ Fresh was 2nd with 6,000 copies.

this market ur talkin bout,the loxion kultcha market,cmon! stop lyin to yaself! nobody buys that shit! look at the top artists in that market! tuks,hhp,prokid,murafe,jubjub,zulumob,my man,hidden force! the sales of these artists are terrible! none of these dudes can even go gold!
