Mumia says Save/Free Kevin Cooper

Kevin Cooper is scheduled to be killed by the state of California just after midnight on Monday (Tuesday morning). New evidence has been released that could demonstrate that he didn´t do the crimes for which he is going to be executed. And even at the time of his initial trial, one of the survivors said that the perpetrator wasn´t a Black man (Kevin is Black), but several white or Latino men. One of the victims had blonde hair in her hand, and there are no blonde hairs on Kevin. A woman told police that she thought her blonde boyfriend was responsible. He came home with bloody clothes on the night of the murder and a hatchet was missing from his tool set. (One of the weapons used in the murders was a hatchet.) And several experts have said that it would have been impossible for one man to have killed that many people in such a short period of time. And yet, Kevin Cooper is scheduled to die. This is a grave miscarriage of justice, and Arnold Schwarzeneger, the governor of California, has refused to give Kevin a stay of execution so that the case against him can be challenged.
