The fact that Explicit did a joint with The Monopoly puts him in a better position than Snazz!
It shows that he can diversify and move with the times!

The fact that Snazz even ENTERED mc africa, means he cant move on.

Just my opinion.
Hopefully he'll prove me wrong, but historically battle champions never make it past a demo CD. And as far as i know, Snazz is still yet to release a commercial album! 10 yrs plus reigning as the illest and NO ALBUM? uh uhhh......somethings off here!

Or maybe its just me.
I dunno!

All the best to Snazz and i hope he went back to drawing board and gives his fans what they deserve after that lacklustre attempt with Wordsworth.

He is definitely one of the dudes that inspired me to pirsue hiphop and on that strength i respect his hustle!

I personally feel that an artist needs to have diversity if he is to survive! Making a club banger is a challenge to me! I have never written one! but i have take it upon myself to try it! not because im selling out but keepin it real is keeping it broke! I have spoke to cats that I have known for years and have been hustling as hard as I have and all say the same thing! there isnt a market for a canibus or nas! look at Tumi! he has a launch in CANDA before S.A! Im sorry but at the end of the day I want to eat! And just cause Im doing a club banger or a track bout shorties doesnt mean im selling out!

That aside, I mean, there are GOOD tracks and BAD tracks. A lot of it simply comes down to subjective interpretation. There are some outstanding club bangers and songs for the ladies, just as there are some f***ing awful 'underground' tracks.

Case in point: 'Let's Go' by Trick Daddy f/Lil Jon and Twista. Amazing, brilliant, knockout club heater.

Keepin it real for me, is to continue to innovate and change the sound of hiphop, and keep re-defining it so it never dies!!!
