I bought a keyboard that has a usb connection so I connected it to my computer and I can play it in FL Studio but I get a 1 second delay when I try and play it in FL studio.  My computer specs are:
AMD 64 X 2 DUAL 3600+
2.01 GHZ
960 MB OF RAM

USB IS 2.0

If you can help me I will appreciate I don't want the 1 second delay.

You are obviously using your on board sound card for recording. It doesnt matter how quick ur pc is,you need to get a low latency soundcard to solve the problem. a cheap option would be the soundblaster audigy.

Make sure the sound output you have selected is asio, not direct x or the onboard one. Select ur audigy soundcard as the main output.

You can also start playing one second earlier. that should fix things right up.

If that doesn't work send me your motherboard and processor and I'll check it out for you. PM me if you want the address to mail them to.

go grab an maudio man. get asio  2 drivers. if nothing else works err just mute the channel and play the melody,, then quantinize the notes into position. Latency is a biatch, coz 80% of the time u need 2 get a better card. and audigy are far from decent (trust me  i knw)

Well syc is kind of right about the audigy, but they will do the trick if you are running on a very tight budget. If im not mistaken the audigy 5.1 was going for 499 and the 7.1 going for 799 last time i checked, this was a year and a half ago at incredible connection. Prices should definately have dropped by now.

its nothing to do with the processor, I also cant get my stuff on time in fruityloops for some reason, so I use reason as it was designed for midi and even with my soundblaster I can record on time as long as quantize is on, I'll be getting a beast of soundcard next week and I'll continue making those hits man
