R.I.P. Tonderai Makoni aka Kingpin 1979 - 2003

4yrs ago today May 14th 2003 one of Zimbabwe's most talented sons left us.

From an early age I knew Tonde was not just some kid from Harare trying to rp. The natural pedigree was evident. The flow, the charisma, the higher conciousness. The sincerity.

Trips to Mandara to swap tapes I will never forget. Sorry about that Busta Rhymes CD. You put me onto ATLiens I put you onto Aquemini.
Why did you leave us? Too soon.
The music had only just began.
At least we have that.

Someone who was close to me at that time used to speak highly of this MC but never got to hear anything from him until way after that sad day.

I cant seem to download the file, but it gives me "file corrupted' message during the download.
