eish...guess it wouldn't be fair for me to give much feedback, it won't be objective so i won't say anything about my set @ all
but i gotta say though, this was not your typical Hip Hop joint, it was just all-encompa**ing good music
Big Dre and Mingus did a good job of injecting that cla**ical sound into their dj sets
they played a lot of original funk, jazz & soul tracks from which some of the most dopest modern-day Hip Hop tracks are sampled
& it's always so cool when u recognise the sample from the original...it felt like being in the delivery room, watching Hip Hop being born!
otherwise, the artist were nice, the crowd was nice
Eavesdrop bumrushd my set & killed it
Garlic Brown came the fuk OFF!!! as always.... plus he had some of his L.O.S peoples with i.e. King Daniel & Apollo
speaking of Garlic Brown....he's gonna be at Cosmic Wars III next Thursday @ Mercury as part of a sicckkkk- line up of artists
watch this space for that joint!!!
