@rob_one...hearing Mr. Ortiz was a surprise.
@Msanii_XL...thanks.
@TATEguru...Thanks for listening. Yeah, Cam can bring. Next surprise for you should be Chamillionaire's sentiments on the latest.

Why? He's dope.

Nah B, just differences in taste. When I think someone is really really really dope, you're calling them wack. But here, we agree.

Yeah, but that's 'cos I'm a backpackin', straight-hatin', new-era-fitted-wearin', broken-headphone-rockin', Jedi-Mind-Tricks-lovin', Canibus-worshippin' urban a**hole. Next question?  ;D

YES! I remember hearing that Canibus line "At a thousand degrees Celsius, I make MC's melt f*ck my record label, I appear courtesy of myself" too & having a similar reacation.
Interestingly enough Chamillionaire is a bit misrepresented in the mainstream media. He's actually an alright dude. At sxsw 07 he was going on about how he's married, doesn't drink or smoke & is generally a mature family guy type.

Crisis & Jigga blend is sounding right! Rock-Diamond Chain Ent

TNG stays raising the stakes on Podcast production!
F(orget) pasting together a couple of mp3's in 20mins  ;)

Thanks man.
Note (bolded point); I've always been of the opinion that where rap is concerned, you can't make a final call about artists until you've given their album a try. Not everyone is in Dr. Dre's position of putting out a single that truly reflects what the rest of the album content is about. Compromise is always made between them & the people that don't make the music but sell it on their behalf.

I still love that 25th Hour intro. You're pulling out the coolest concepts. I really enjoyed this episode.

@ Tate, I'll hunt around for some articles.

Goddam TransAfrica. Played a repeat of my show from last week last night, when I have like seven shows in the can.

Ah well. One more week then the suckers can start paying me for the privilege.

Keeps getting better. Dope concepts always. Bubbly magnetic host.

Technical issues resolved for the most part. Some of the cross fading transitions mixing could use a little work (see TNGlive for tutorial) but its coming round quite nicely.
I would have liked to hear more of the original sampled records on this one.

"Soon & very soon"

They've now played 20/20 four times.

The first went fine (it was a week late though, due to a scheduling problem) Then two weeks in a row the same episode (number two) played, also due a to a scheduling f***up. Today Episode 3 played fine.

So I don't know about three weeks. I'm meeting Spliff this week though, so can iron out any problems.

And if he thinks he can get away without paying me...
