I hear you. Thought the acting up was a once off thing. Just failed to access episode on mypodcast but downloaded first time quick quick no ha**les on the podomatic link. Is it tried & trusted though?

I had similar problems with the latest 2020. Only managed to DL it this evening after trying over 20 times.

PodOmatic seems more feature heavy. It will take some getting used to but once you got it running it appears to integrate very well with social networking sites & blogs etc. It also allows the user to embed artwork in the file which was a feature missing from mypodcast/ Its a superior host to mypodcast but there is a space limitation of 500MB storage & 15GB a month traffic. Thereafter you have to pay to go pro.
I am trying it now running them parallel. For a relatively new podcast like TNG's it may not be a bad look.

Another free one is PodBean.com. I haven't tried it though.

That's an idea. My problem with mypodcast is that there is ZERO tech support. The site admin (Tatyana) pretty much is never around. She always fixes the problems, but it sometimes takes ages. And her advice is up to shit.

Meh, I'm ungrateful. Of course, Tate, if all goes to plan it won't matter much for either of us. Big tings gwidarn.

Due to problems with mypodcast.com that are consistent and irritating, a sister site has been created so that new episodes will always be available.

Although episodes will still be posted on 2020.mypodcast.com every week, they will now also be posted on http://2020.podOmatic.com. Now you can keep up to speed with the world's finest hip-hop podcast.

In the iTunes store locate your podcast & click "report a concern" to the effect of:
"Hi,
I need to update my feed url to: http://hiphocalypse.podomatic.com/rss2.xml
It is currently
http://hiphocalypse.mypodcast.com/rss.xml

My previous hosting service does not allow me to edit the XML manually as suggested in the iTunes help section. "

Seen. It sucks that podomatic is so limited & makes you pay for the extra bandwidth.
I think the pros of podomatic far outweigh the cons though. Things like integration with social networking, clean presentation & support are far more useful than the space & bandwidth of mypodcast. I'll keep loading to both & hold thumbs.

Those of you with iTunes sould also check for Afrolution Hip Hop TV podcast in the iTunes store. They have an African Hip Hop TV podcast. I just watched a Zubz & Tumi interview. Flava!
