Hey guys,

Normally, i don't post i just read but on this topic I felt I had to give my 2cents

i was watching a Nigerian movie (the name escapes me) with my girlfriend  and I couldn't believe what i was watching it wasn't your typical movie, the subject matter was relevant and focused, the camera angles were good and the audio was good!! They even had a hip original soundtrack.

I'm not a big fan of Nollywood i personally think its boring and predictable but this movie was fresh and took things in a whole other direction.
fyi it was about a nigerian/african that comes to america in search of the land of milk and honey but instead falls into a world of deceit etc. i like it because its relevant.

I'm wondering is Nollywood Dead with movies like this coming out and pushing the boundaries where does that leave the Nollywood formula?

In my opinion Nollywood is dead and a much-welcomed new breed of Nigerian film has arrived. what do you think?

I'm going to call my girlfriend to get the name…I’ll post  later
