So...

Due to my induction into the cult of Richard Dawkins and my discovery that one is not banned from having a Jewish burial simply because one has a tat or piercing, I've been thinking about getting a tattoo.

I don't know where or what (something small and fairly low key, I think) I just know I want one. I have a pretty high pain threshold so I'm not scared of having it done.

Still, I'm hesitant to go ahead with it. Don't know why.

Who has tats on here? What of? Are they worth it, in general?

Got 3 myself.

1) On my left arm - Wandile = My SON's Name.
2) Right Shoulder - Face of a Tiger
3) Left Shoulder - A Knife going thru a Rose

Been meaning to get more,just haven't had the time.It aint that painful man.Just imagine someone sticking a sewing needle into you every 2seconds for 3hours straight. hahahahahaha !!!!!! MAN UP !!!

the thing about tattoos is that they really are permanent (DUH), so u have to be very sure rob-and maybe do it when u older (i was 17)/wiser

I've got a tattoo...which i hate (cause its not complate-missing a set of wings- but i saw David Beck has the same tat so my idea might have to change)so now i need to expand it (but i dont have the funds)

but i think men who have tats are very sexy-dunno why- girls too!

I'm 23 now. It's something I've thought about doing for a long time but due to religious convictions I never acted on it. Not anymore though.

Anyway, it'll be something really small. Nothing major.

just had to cancel my tattoo appointment for the 3rd or 4th time due to being too damn busy! getting 'pioneer unit' and 'dplanet' on the outside of each forearm,,, then 'CPT' and 'LON' on the insides with some stars. got plans for full sleeves too (if i ever get the time). i'd like something on my neck and hands too,,, not sure what yet though. going for the mr. cartoon style black and grey tats.
