The Wits Socialist Student Movement political organization in collaboration with South Africa’s IndyMedia will be hosting an arguably a live-a** Hip Hop show. The show is set to happen this Friday (18 June) at Horror Café in Newtown, the show will start at 19:00 until the early hour of the day. The show will commence with the movie; The Fourth World War (until 22:00), after the movie the floor will be open to live performances. The movie (The Fourth World War), weaves together the images and voices from the front lines of struggles in South Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Palestine, Korea, the ‘North’, from Seattle to Genova, and the ‘War on Terror’ in New York Iraq. It is the untold human story of men and women who resist being annihilated in the current global conflict. As soon as the movies ends, rhymaz (open to all) will jump on stage and go off the head about the movie. The artists consolidated for the evening include; Snazz (of Cashless Society), Deth Kowd (the Battle Emcee), Cone (sick with His), Cuba and her Crew, DJ Tumi and many more artists will be performing. After the set performances, the Open Mike Session will commence and it will include battles, Deth Kowd will be up for battles and many more artists.
