this is mainly for the fellas. yo, how do you make amends with your lady friend (read: a girl you really give a f*** about) when you know you've really, really, f***ed up?

i know, i should stop drinking on thursdays, but anyway get at me. i'm knee-deep up shit's creek right now.

Wait till the anger dies down. It's very hard to forgive someone when you're angry. Give her some time out. Then bombard her with apologies. Don't buy extravagant gifts because then you set some sort of expectation that when ever you screw up you buy her gifts. Call, sms, write do whatever. Eventually she'll cave. But this only works if it's the first time you've f***** up. If she forgives you don't do it again.
